The Van der Valk 24M Explorer displacement motoryacht is currently under construction and is being built to MCA standards. Equipped with C12 Caterpillar engines, and 4000 gallons of fuel she will have tremendous range of 2400 NM range at 10 knots. This 78' Van der Valk explorer has a tremendous amount of volume afforded by a beam of over 22'. She has a four stateroom layout plus crew for three. She is currently being built with a combination of Mahogany, bleached Ash and Wenge floors. The quality of the Van der Valk is not found on a yacht built outside the Netherlands, and is hard to compare with much else in this size and price range.
