The composite structure serves both as a buoyancy material and shock, sound and temperature insulator. It provides a quiet ride, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull. The decks are a fiberglass sandwich construction with end-grain balsa core. Saloon The saloon is entered through double doors leading from the covered aft deck. CRUCERO has no built-in furniture in the saloon leaving plenty of room for a drop leaf table and 2 rattan swivel chairs to port, and a rattan couch and end table to starboard. Galley The open faced galley is located forward of the saloon on the starboard side. Guest Stateroom The guest stateroom / den is aft of the master stateroom on the starboard side. There is a builtin desk, convertible settee, Pullman berth, hanging locker and additional storage. The desk area is also wired for cable and telephone. Head The head is opposite the guest stateroom and includes a stall shower with Scanmix temperature controlled fixture, Vacuflush fresh water head, deck prism and 2 opening ports. Pilothouse The pilothouse is up and forward from the saloon. It offers the captain expansive views of the horizon, properly placed controls and navigation aids and a convertible settee.
