3 GETTING HERE Port Canaveral is located on the State Road 528 Beachline Expressway, with quick access to Interstate 95 and an uncongested route to Orlando. No matter where you re coming from, there's an easy way to get here. By Air There are five airports, including four that are international, within an easy drive of the Port. Orlando International Airport 45 minutes Orlando Melbourne International Airport 40 minutes Orlando Sanford International Airport 60 minutes Daytona Beach International Airport 65 minutes Space Coast Regional Airport 20 minutes All airports are serviced by shuttles, taxicabs and limousines and most have car rental facilities. If you are renting a car and need driving directions from an airport, go to: By Car We re located in Brevard County, right in the middle of Florida s east coast, easily reachable by an efficient system of highways. State Road 528 (the Beachline), State Road 520 and State Road 50 are the Port s east-west highway links. These highways intersect with U.S. Highway 1, Interstate 95, the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 4 to provide excellent access to and from Port Canaveral from anywhere in the nation. A newly remodeled Cruise Terminal 5 offers guest parking in a brand new garage, along with a covered passenger walkway on the second floor that leads directly to the cruise terminal. Cruise Terminal 6 allows guests to park in a covered parking garage right next to the ship, and for Disney Cruise Line guests, Cruise Terminal 8 has a 1,000-space parking garage adjacent to the terminal. Also recently upgraded is Cruise Terminal 10, where guests can choose between an outdoor parking area or a 1200 space six-level parking garage. When arriving at the terminal, guests can drive directly to parking or drop off luggage and then park.
