13 STATUE S TICKET OPTIONS Reserve Tickets specify a day and time to arrive at the Boarding Queue which saves wait time at the departure point. If there is a delay in arriving, visitors can board the next departure. Experience the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island just as millions of immigrants did upon entering America. The Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island are open to the public. Our tickets provide access to the grounds of Liberty Island and Ellis Island. STATUE OF LIBERTY The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886, designated as a National Monument in 1924 and restored for her centennial on July 4, Venture inside the Statue of Liberty s Pedestal and visit the museum (reservations required). ELLIS ISLAND While visiting Ellis Island there are a number of different things to see. The American Immigrant Wall of Honor, currently inscribed with over 700,000 names and the museum s self-guided exhibits chronicle Ellis Island s role in immigration history. Included in the exhibits are artifacts, photographs, prints, videos, interactive displays, oral histories, and the award-winning film documentary Island of Hope, Island of Tears. Flex Tickets give the visitor flexibility in their departure time and departure date. If the departure time is certain, the Reserve Ticket is encouraged for purchase, as the time spent in line will be significantly shorter.
