Viking 63 Walkthrough Boarding Evening Star can be done by either boarding ladder or gangway amidship on both port and starboard or by the swim platform and up a ladder to the cockpit. Once onboard you enter the pilothouse via wing doors. The pilothouse features a large helm and a bench seat for three and a companionway to the forward berthing spaces. Following the companionway down to the forward berthing, three staterooms that sleep six and two heads are laid out in the forward section of the yacht. In the bow is a bunk room with a single bunk above, a single below and a private head. At the bottom of the companionway is the guest head with separate shower stall. Aft of the companionway is a double berth cabin to port and a third cabin with two single berths to starboard. Back up the companionway, the large U-shaped galley is located directly aft of the pilothouse with large openings both forward to the pilothouse and aft to the formal dining and salon. The formal dining area will comfortably seat six to port with a wet bar, companionway down to the master cabin, laundry and engine room to starboard. Furthest aft on the main level is the spacious salon which features four sofas, an entertainment center to port, double sliding glass doors to the cockpit and a companionway up to the flybridge. The flybridge is enclosed on three sides and provides great viability for navigation. The foredeck features a large bench seat facing forward, the cockpit has plenty of room for a couple chairs and a small table and the swim platform is large enough for comfortable tender access while at anchor. Viking 63 Accommodations This yacht can comfortably sleep eight in four staterooms supported by three heads. In the forward berthing spaces there are three staterooms that sleep six supported by two heads. In the bow is a bunk room with a large single bunk above, a single below and a private wet head. Viking 63 Lower Helm Evening Star's lower helm provides a nice sized space to navigate the yacht from while still maintaining connected to the galley, formal dining and salon via the large pass through between spaces. The helm features wing doors both port and starboard. a centered helm and a companionway to starboard down to the forward berthing spaces. Large forward and side windows provide great visibility and a large chart desk to port of the helm provides space for planning. The three basin stainless steel sink with garbage disposal faces aft towards the formal dining room. With overhead lighting, large windows both port and starboard and wide pass throughs both forward and aft, the galley feels bright and spacious. The large glass top dining room table with marble pedestal and six comfortable, high back chairs is accented by overhead lighting. Large windows both port and starboard provide natural lighting and a large wet bar to starboard provides ample storage and preparation space for entertaining. The wet bar features an lighted overhead cabinet with glass storage rack and the lower cabinet has a built in Uline ice maker and top opening compartment for additional accessories. The companionways down to the master stateroom, laundry and engine room and up to the flybridge are to starboard aft of the wet bar. Viking 63 Salon The very spacious full beam salon on Evening Star features two straight couches and two corner couches, two square marble end tables, two circular, glass top marble coffee tables and a large teak entertainment center which also separates the formal dining room from the salon. A custom designed, inlaid carpet covered the sole in the salon and formal dining room and is in good condition. Dual glass sliding doors provide access from the salon to the cockpit and swim platform. The salon features overhead lighting and four large windows with blinds provide natural light and fresh air into the salon. 6 The forward guest stateroom features two single bunks with reading lights and a large wall mirror to port. To starboard is a small bench seat, large hanging locker, small entertainment center and a private wet head. Two portlights and an overhead hatch provide fresh air and natural light into the space. The small entertainment center is equipped with a JVC 13" tv, AM/ FM/CD radio and two speakers. The private wet head features a Vacuflush toilet, vanity with sink, shower sprayer and curtain and one portlight to starboard. The Starboard guest stateroom features 2 single berths with reading lights, a nightstand between the berths, built in storage cabinets and two portlights allow natural light and air into the space. The port guest stateroom features a double berth with reading lights, large hanging locker, under berth storage, large fold up table/desk and two portlights for natural light and airflow. The second head forward is located to port outside the three staterooms and features a Vacuflush toilet, vanity with sink, large medicine cabinet and separate shower stall and one portlight. Floor mounted night lights are throughout in the forward berthing compartment. Viking 63 Master Stateroom The full beam, incredibly spacious, carpeted master suite provides the owner of this yacht with first class accommodations. Upon entering the space an entertainment center with Direct TV receiver and Sony CD player is to starboard and a large, 32" flat screen tv is mounted on the bulkhead above a classic chaise lounge.storage cabinets span the starboard bulkhead until you reach the L shaped sofa aft in the cabin. The beautiful centered king berth is the focal point of the space and flanked on either side by large nightstands. Along the port bulkhead are six large hanging lockers. A lighted makeup table is to port at the entrance to the master head. There are two long windows, one port one starboard in the suite for natural light and air. The master head features two large basins in the vanity, under vaity storage a Vacuflush toilet, full size Jacuzzi tub with glass shower enclosure and a large towel closet with programmable safe. Viking 63 Laundry The laundry/utility room is forward of the master stateroom and features a Summit Professional stacked washer and dryer unit forward in the space and a utility bench and cabinets aft. The walk in engine room door is on the center line further into the laundry/utility room and forward. Viking 63 Flybridge The flybridge continues to exceed expectations on this yacht. The upper helm is as well equipped to navigate the yacht as the lower helm and with three captains chairs across the helm provides plenty of room for others. Aft of the helm is a large entertaining area which features a wet bar with mini refrigerator and dinette to port that comfortably seat five or six and a large bench seat to starboard faces the dinette.
