And Navalimpianti Tecnimpianti was proudly present with side doors, which the group managed to win after a great battle with foreign competitors, the tender platforms, the Proteus valves remote control system and the lifeboats davits. From that moment on, cruise ships would become a major area of production of the group; only a few years later, for three units of Holland America Line, the Statendaam, the Ryndam and the Maasdam, built in Fincantieri Monfalcone, the group produced, for the first time, the telescopic davits for life and tenderboats, a cutting-edge system designed by the company.

9 1995 Another great intuition in terms of expansion dates back to mid-nineties: Navalimpianti was facing an overload of work and in the same years the historic shipyard Uljanic in Pula was facing a moment of serious difficulty; our management smelled immediately the potentiality of establishing a new strategic site in Pula... this is how Navalimpianti Pula was established, today a centre of engineering specialized in design and 3D.
