14 Terms & Conditions / Useful Information PROCEDURE FOR RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: To book your chosen cruise, contact your travel agent. Provided that the cruise and cabin you choose is available, a provisional booking will be made which will be confirmed once a 30% deposit is given. With this booking you accept the terms of this booklet, on behalf of all persons who make a reservation, including minors. The rest of the payment must be made at least 30 days before departure. If however, the reservation is made 30 days or less before departure, the entire amount for your cruise must be paid upon booking. CANCELLATION TERMS: Up to 100 days days to 31 days - 30% 30 days to 0 days - 100% Name change possible up to 12 days before departure with a 50 per person penalty. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE THE CRUISE What travel documents are needed A valid passport or European identity card (valid for at least 6 months) Cruise ticket Visa, if required by the countries you are visiting. Customers who do not have the necessary documents will not be allowed to board the cruise ship, which is why the cruise company will not bear any liability or obligation to refund. European Nationals can visit Sarande and Kotor. Other Nationals must check before booking. Clothing for the port of call & Cruise We recommend comfortable walking shoes, comfortable clothes, hat and sunglasses. At religious sites, shorts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed. On the cruise you should have with you: a swimsuit, sunscreen and sunglasses for the pool. It is prohibited to enter the dining room with a swimsuit. A light jacket is recommended, as all areas are air conditioned. For formal evenings it is recommended that all gentlemen wear a jacket and for ladies to wear evening dresses. For informal evenings casual attire is recommended. Baggage Although there is no limit to the amount of luggage, remember that the area of your cabin, as spacious as it may be, is limited. Please have in mind that you have space for two suitcases and two pieces of hand luggage in a cabin. All luggage must be labeled with the luggage tag that is included in your ticket before boarding. You are not allowed to carry on you or transport in your luggage dangerous or illegal items or drinks. Do not accept to carry luggage or parcels from a third party. In case of loss, you should immediately notify the Customer Service Office of the cruise ship you are traveling on. Boarding Before boarding a cruise ship, you must first go through passport control followed by the boarding process. Company personnel will be there to assist you, if needed. You need to have your passport / ID and your ticket handy. Your cruise ticket will show your boarding time. Valuables We recommend that you do not place money or valuables in your luggage or leave them exposed in your cabin. Both cruise ships have lockers for storing valuable items or a small safe in the cabin. Caution: MSC Cruises will not be responsible in the event of any loss. SERVICES OFFERED ON BOARD Meals on board: It is required, at the time of booking, to choose the dining seating time you require. First Seating starts around: 18:30-19:00 Second Seating starts around: 20:30-21:00 Breakfast and lunch are served without a booking at your designated restaurant or at the Buffet restaurant on deck 13 which is open 20 hours per day. Medical Services All cruise ships have a doctor. The doctors working hours are announced daily, however in emergency cases, passengers receive immediate treatment. Each medical service and medication provided, is charged accordingly. Any special needs or illness that needs treatment, should be declared at the time of reservation. Passengers with accompanying persons with special needs are solely responsible for them. Women who are pregnant should not have passed the sixth month of pregnancy and is necessary to produce a certificate from their doctor confirming that they are fit to travel. Electricity - Laundry - Ironing The Electric power is 110/220 volts. All cabins have an electric hair-dryer as well as a socket for an electric shaver. It is prohibited to use an iron in your cabin. For this reason, laundry and ironing services are available on board. Prices vary depending on the type of clothes. You can get all the necessary information from the valet service.
