This 1976 HATTERAS 58 Yacht Fisherman is an extra clean vessel with many recent upgrades. This was one of the most popular Hatteras models ever with an almost 12 year production run. She has the layout of the Classic 53 MY with a 5' cockpit extension. The extra length makes her much more versatile as well as a much improved ride with better handling. She spent most of her life in a covered slip on a river and shows like a much newer yacht. This is the one you have been waiting to see. As of May 2014 she has fresh bottom paint, new cutlass bearings, props reconditioned, repainted hull stripe and LED underwater lighting. OWNER WILL CONSIDER TRADES OF SMALLER BOATS OR REAL ESTATE. 3 Walk Around This is the standard Hatteras 53/58 Yacht Fish layout. You can board her from either side via gates in the teak capped rails. There are covered side decks with a full walk around for easy handling. The foredeck has a long bench seat across the front of the cabin and fiberglass storage boxes. Salon access is through sliding doors on either side or double doors aft with teak framed screen doors on all three. The aft deck has NEW teak decking and is is protected by a hard top and full enclosure with wing doors. There is a larger oval teak table with bench seating aft and a teak chair and stools. The cockpit is down a few steps on both side and has NEW teak cover boards and a transom door that leads to a fiberglass swim platform with ladder. Salon As you enter the salon from the aft doors you will appreciate the open panaramic view all around. There is a custom teak cabinet in the port aft corner and leather sofa to port with a pair of matching leather chairs to starboard. The lower station is forward with a center helm. The salon has new carpet and all of the doors have custom teak framed screens. In the salon as well as through out the vessel there are no sign of leaks or water stains. Galley The galley is forward of the salon and down three steps from the starboard side. This area has been completely remodeled with NEW teak cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The U-shaped galley is to port with the same general footprint as the original. There is fore & aft facing dinette opposite to starboard. Windows on each allow for a lot of natural light in this area. Across the hall to starboard is a head with shower. The private full beam master stateroom is aft. There is a twin berth to starboard and a large double to port (new renovation with new mattress).
