2 Lady Trudy by CRN / Ferretti Group with Zuccon International Project Launched by CRN in spring last year in a private ceremony, the mega yacht Lady Trudy made its debut in September in Cannes when it was officially presented at the Festival de la Plaisance, on display at the quayside. Lady Trudy is another Made in Italy masterpiece by CRN, a Ferretti Group brand. The shipyard specialises in building fully custom luxury yachts in steel/aluminium and semi custom yachts in composite. As the seventh hull in the successful CRN Navetta 43-metre line, Lady Trudy was designed by the CRN Engineering technical department in collaboration with Zuccon International Project, which produced the exterior design and interior layout. For their part, the interior style and decoration were designed by CRN s Centro Stile design centre directly with the Owner, who followed every phase of the design in detail. The interiors are a harmonious fusion of Italian style and American colonial themes, created through a sophisticated interplay that has given the interiors a refined charm. Every choice made for the vessel is based on inspiration guided by romantic references to the Hampton style, a particular favourite of the Owner s.

A general overview of the motor yacht Like all its previous sister ships in the CRN Navetta 43 semi custom line, Lady Trudy s appearance is also characterised by impressive shapes, contrasting with the horizontal lines of the decks that run along the white superstructure and the grey pearl-effect hull. Lady Trudy differs completely from its sister ships not only in the original colouring of the hull but also, unmissably, in the layout design and interior design that precisely satisfy the Owner s needs and wishes. First of all, structural changes have been made to the sun deck allowing it to be lengthened aft in order to provide a touch-and-go helicopter landing pad; when not in use for this purpose, the large area is normally laid out with sun beds and coffee tables. In the central section of the deck, protected from the sun by a retractable awning and a structural hard top, there is a living area with a sofa and coffee tables beside an American bar complete with bar stools. An open-air relaxation zone has been created forward, with two semi-circular sofas and two round coffee tables, in front of an extensive sunbathing area with a round Jacuzzi tub. The large tub has a raised panoramic position, flanked by two areas laid out with sunbathing mats. All the freestanding furniture on the sun deck has been made from natural treated teak. The decoration of the sun deck is characterised by a clear predominance of beige, white and red: generally speaking, the cushions are covered in monochrome beige fabric for the seat and vertical white and red lines for the back. On the upper deck, the wheelhouse is dominated by a large sofa at the back and a large elliptical dining table, which can seat up to 12 diners, in white wood with a polished lacquer finish. The wheelhouse decoration is predominantly characterised by blue, powder blue and white; notably, the chairs have seat cushions in navy blue fabric and back cushions in white fabric with blue decorations. In addition, the built-in sofa has a sunbathing area in the centre covered with vertical powder blue and white striped fabric while the side sections are upholstered in navy blue fabric. The plentiful cushions decorating it are either patterned or two-tone white and blue. Inside on the upper deck, the huge salon is fitted out with a custom made sofa in white linen, accompanied by the central coffee table, facing the back wall that features a built-in 55-inch LED screen. At the edge of the salon, the space is enhanced by a square gaming table and a high peninsula table. On the sides of this area, two long custom made sofas clad in white linen face each other with their backs to opposite walls, accompanied by coffee tables in dark mahogany.

Behind the chairs, two beautiful bookcases / display cases have been placed, made from white ash but with aquamarine backgrounds.

On the main deck, the wheelhouse has been fitted out with a sofa against the aft wall and a central coffee table in dark mahogany, with four armchairs around it in wood with mocha-coloured wicker backs. The wheelhouse decoration is predominantly characterised by white and red: in particular, both the armchairs and the built-in sofa have seat cushions and back cushions clad in white fabric while the decorative cushions have been chosen from the colonial collection of Mastro Raphael, pleasingly embroidered with colourful marine themes. Inside on the main deck, the entry to the main salon features a central container unit incorporating a 46-inch foldaway LED screen. On the sides of this area, two long custom made sofas clad in white linen face each other with their backs to opposite walls, accompanied by coffee tables in dark mahogany. Towards the back of the salon, the space is supplemented with a pair of armchairs in natural wicker with white linen cushions by US firm McGuire. Behind the chairs, two beautiful bookcases / display cases have been placed, made from white ash but with aquamarine backgrounds. Between these, two sliding doors have been installed that open electrically to provide access to the dining room. Surrounded by chairs with cushions in white linen, also by McGuire, the large table for ten diners has a surface in crystal glass resting on two original bases: ridged columns surmounted by capitals featuring a hollow at the top filled with sand and shells. To create a warm, intimate atmosphere, inspired by the familiar, pleasant warmth of home, sliding bay window-style shutters have been installed in the dining room, an element that is also present in the Owner s suite. Forward on the main deck, the Owner s suite has a private office with a desk against the wall in mahogany and a surface covered with brown leather. This contrasts with the bookcase in white ash, which has a built-in sofa bench with decorative cushions in fabrics with the same tones as those used in the stateroom for the carpet and the bedcover cream and beige but with the addition of grey and brown. Dominated by the large canopied bed in dark mahogany with the bed head covered in mocha-coloured calf leather, the stateroom is enhanced by the private balcony along the starboard wall, equipped with chairs and a coffee table. As well as a capacious wardrobe, the Owner s stateroom has his and hers bathrooms: the bathroom for her has a large tub while the bathroom for him has a spacious shower cubicle. Both the rooms are clad in white ash and teak slats. The washbasins are clad in natural porous anthracite grey San Gaudenzio stone, while the taps and accessories are antique bronze in colour, with a hammered effect. On the lower deck, the guest accommodation has been created using white ash as the main wood while the details and decorations are in mahogany. In accordance with the Owner s wishes, each of the four guest cabins has a dominant colour and bears the name of a famous American seaside resort of the north Atlantic coast: yellow for the Newport cabin, green for the Cape Cod cabin, blue for the Nantucket cabin, and finally red for the Mystic cabin

10 The crew mess The galley, created in white ash, is based on classic American models: on the chequered floor stands an imposing cooking block by the French firm La Cornue. Each cabin is decorated with a large cushion embroidered with the name of the corresponding place. Crushed-effect cotton and linen fabrics have been used in the guest cabins to create an immediate feeling of softness on contact. The bulkheads behind the bed heads are clad in decorative fabrics by the US stylist Ralph Lauren, with different marine-inspired decorative motifs for each cabin. The carpeting is always in white cotton but differentiated by striped designs echoing the main colour for each cabin. All four bathrooms for these cabins are clad in white ash and teak slats, while the washbasins are clad in natural porous anthracite grey San Gaudenzio stone. The lower deck is also home to the large fitness area, located in the stern and facing directly onto the water. It is completely clad in teak and equipped with Technogym machines.
