This river cruise is not a family friendly experience. Children over the age of 13 are allowed to sail, but please note that minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied, in the same stateroom, by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21. Cancellation Policy: Non-refundable unless the stateroom category is full and Inspirato is able to rebook that stateroom. A member may book as many staterooms as they would like. CAN WE PUT MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE IN A STATEROOM? No. Each stateroom can accommodate up to two passengers, regardless of age. ARE TRIPLE OCCUPANCY STATEROOMS AVAILABLE? No, the maximum occupancy of each stateroom is two people. CAN A MEMBER BOOK A SPECIFIC STATEROOM NUMBER? The member will be able to book the stateroom category (e.g., River Suite, French Balcony Stateroom, etc.), but we will wait to make stateroom assignments until closer to the sailing date. Holly Bryan will do everything possible to accommodate member requests. ARE SHORE EXCURSIONS INCLUDED? Yes, complimentary daily shore excursions are included in the cost of your cruise fare. Uniworld s excursions offer a variety of choices to introduce you to the Douro s grandest treasures and hidden wonders. Their Do as the Locals Do program provides authentic encounters with the locals to give you the chance to walk in their shoes, uncover their favorite places to meet and taste their beloved food. Their Village Day program provides a similar up-close look at rural towns with visits to local homes. IS ENTERTAINMENT OR ENRICHMENT OFFERED ON BOARD? There will be entertainment and enrichment offered daily on board the Queen Isabel. Highlights including lectures, cooking demonstration, onboard music performances and piano music. Whether it s traditional Portuguese music, a classical quartet, or contemporary piano favorites, you will enjoy an eclectic schedule of onboard entertainment every night. WHAT IS THE TIPPING / GRATUITY POLICY? All gratuities for the ship s staff and crew, as well as your onshore tour guides are included in your cruise fare. When going ashore on your own, keep in mind that tipping is less expected and more modest in Europe than it is in North America (although equally appreciated). Inspirato likely will make a contribution to crew welfare on behalf of all members and guests to reward exceptional service. WHAT MAY I NOT BRING A BOARD? Due to health, safety and regulatory reasons, passengers may not bring certain items aboard (including but not limited to): Explosives, weapons, irons, candles, hazardous chemicals & materials, or equipment that may interfere with ships systems or disrupt the enjoyment of the voyage by other passengers. Illegal substances may not be boarded. Uniworld reserves the right to make adjustments to this policy and deny the boarding of items deemed unsafe/illegal. WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR SINGLE OCCUPANCY IN A STATEROOM? The price for a single person in a stateroom is the same as if there were two people in the stateroom. 29

16 ARE VACCINATIONS REQUIRED? There are no current vaccinations needed for this river cruise. All passengers must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) provide guidelines as to which vaccinations are required in each country. In many cases inoculations are recommended, but in some circumstances, they are required. It is suggested that you check with your health care professional for guidance. WHAT LANGUAGE DOES THE CREW SPEAK? English is the official language, however the officers and crew are international, and so many languages are represented on board. IS THERE INTERNET? Onboard Internet services are available complimentary. Members may use their own laptop to conveniently access the Internet and personal in the privacy of their own stateroom, and at Wireless Internet (WiFi) locations throughout the ship. Service may be briefly interrupted in remote areas, while sailing, or when moving through locks, and the speed will likely be slower than what you are used to back home. WHAT IS THE CURRENCY / MONEY MATTERS? Any and all onboard payments to Uniworld shall be made in U.S. dollars or Euro. All charges for services provided and products purchased on board the ship must be paid for by cash or credit card (American Express, MasterCard or VISA ) at the end of each voyage segment and before your final disembarkation from the ship. The EURO (EUR) is the only currency needed for this river cruise. Credit cards are accepted at all hotels, and most restaurants, but not all shops. It is important to note that Visa and MasterCard are widely accepted in Europe, but American Express is not. Be sure you have a Visa or MasterCard that does not charge foreign transaction fees. DOES UNIWORLD OFFER CURRENCY EXCHANGE, AND SHOULD I CHANGE MONEY BEFORE I GO? Queen Isabel offers very limited exchange from USD to EUR and EUR to USD. It is highly recommended you exchange currency through your bank or international airport prior to leaving the United States, as this will always ensure the best exchange rate, and availability of Euros. IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING? The Queen Isabel is fully air-conditioned. Each stateroom feature personal climate controls. WHAT AMENITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE STATEROOMS? Each stateroom is equipped with a hair dryer, plush terry bathrobes, slippers and a safe. Your marbled bathroom has a walk-in shower and L Occitane en bath and body products. CAN I USE MY SMARTPHONE? On board, members may make and receive phone calls, text messages, and other select data services on their own mobile phone or PDA device. Members will be billed by their home mobile phone provider and calls or messages will appear as roaming charges on their bill. Before leaving home, members should contact their provider to purchase an international voice, data, and messaging plan. CAN I MAKE TELEPHONE CALLS FROM THE QUEEN ISABEL? The ship is also equipped with a telephone system that allows members to make directdial phone calls from their stateroom while at sea. Calls will be billed to the guest s onboard account. Please consult the ship s Reception Desk for the current rate, which (at time of printing) is US $15.00 per minute. WHAT IS THE ELECTRICITY ON BOARD? Voltage in Europe and aboard the Queen Isabel is 220v/50Hz with 2-pin Schuko outlets. All staterooms also have 110v outlets. Your electrical appliances from home may require an adapter and/or converter. A hair dryer is provided in each stateroom. It is recommended that you pack an international adaptor for Lisbon and Porto. We also recommend packing a power strip to charge all those devices. IS THERE A FITNESS CENTER ON BOARD? The Queen Isabel features a well-equipped fitness center with certified onboard wellness instructor. Onboard yoga and other exercise classes are available, as well as TRX Suspension Training, complimentary bicycles and Nordic walking sticks for use ashore. IS THERE A POOL ON BOARD THE QUEEN ISABEL? There is a heated pool on the sun deck. 31

17 IS THERE A SPA AND SALON ON BOARD? The Queen Isabel features the Serenity River Spa where you can be treated to a variety of soothing massage and body treatments. Appointments for these chargeable services may be made on board the ship. WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE? Average fall temperatures along the Douro River range from highs around 62 degrees to lows around 42 degrees. We will provide specific packing recommendations in the packing list provided once we are closer to the sail date. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE / PACKING ESSENTIALS? On board - In keeping with our members sophisticated, yet laid-back style, Inspirato s Douro River cruise will be completely resort casual. Resort casual wear normally refers to polo or oxford style shirts, khaki pants, and skirts, button up tops and dresses. Gentlemen, jackets and ties are not required at any time on board the Queen Isabel. Please no T-shirts or shorts in the dining rooms for dinner service. Shoes should be flat or low-heeled for deck activities. Seasonal weather at the time of our cruise will be warm days and cool evenings. Going Ashore - Since there is so much to see and do while exploring the sights, you will find that the most important item to pack in your cruise luggage is a pair of comfortable, sturdy shoes. This is particularly important for shore excursions where the ground is often uneven and where extensive walking or climbing may be required. Resort casual attire is appropriate at all times when ashore. Appropriate dress should be worn on shore excursions that include a cathedral or monastery. Members wearing shorts or skirts above the knee or women with bare shoulders may not be permitted to enter. Layers would be best to stay comfortable in the fall weather. A detailed packing list will be provided as the voyage embarkation date gets closer. IS THERE LAUNDRY SERVICE ON BOARD? The Queen Isabel has a self-serve launderette (with ironing board) or laundry service for an additional fee. Please No dry cleaning services are available on the Queen Isabel. ARE DINING RESERVATIONS REQUIRED ON BOARD THE QUEEN ISABEL? Dinner is served in a single seating in the Main Dining Room. A bistro menu is available for all-day snacking, as well as a 24-hour specialty coffee and tea station. Weather permitting, al fresco dining on the Sun Deck for dinner may be possible. If you have special dietary requirements, Uniworld s culinary team will make every attempt to accommodate your requests. WHAT IF I AM CELEBRATING A SPECIAL OCCASION DURING THE CRUISE? If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or other special occasion during your voyage, we will be happy to celebrate the event with you. Please advise Holly Bryan or your Member Services team of such occasions at least six weeks prior to departure. IS SMOKING ALLOWED ON BOARD? For Inspirato and Uniworld, the comfort, enjoyment and safety of all members is paramount. Smoking is not allowed aboard any sightseeing motor coach. On board the Queen Isabel, smoking is allowed only in a designated area of the Sun Deck. Members are asked to refrain from smoking on shore excursions/tours, especially since many historical sites and other tourist attractions in Europe are now smoke-free as well. IS THERE A CASINO ON BOARD? No, there is not a casino on board the Queen Isabel. ARE THERE MEDICAL FACILITIES ON BOARD? There are no medical facilities on board the Queen Isabel. However, medical services can easily be called from shore if required. WHAT ARE THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS CRUISE? By booking passage and by boarding the ship, the passenger represents and warrants that he/she is physically and otherwise fit to travel, and that the guest will comply at all times with applicable rules and regulations of the ship and orders and instructions of the ship s officers and medical staff. 33

18 WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT? At the time of booking, expectant mothers are required to supply a medical certificate establishing their fitness for travel at the time they are due to travel. Uniworld is unable to accommodate women who have entered their twenty-fourth week of pregnancy and will not be responsible or liable for any complication relative to any pregnancy during the entire duration of the cruise. Additionally, airlines may have restrictions on travel that may differ from Uniworld s. Please contact your travel professional or airline. WHERE CAN I STORE MY VALUABLES AND CURRENCY ON BOARD? Your stateroom is equipped with a personal safe. Neither Inspirato nor Uniworld is responsible for any articles such as money, jewelry, cameras, binoculars, passports, documents or any other items that you retain in your personal control or in your stateroom, including the safe. ARE PETS ALLOWED ON BOARD? Uniworld cannot accommodate pets on any voyage. MAY I HAVE OR BRING VISITORS ON BOARD THE QUEEN ISABEL? Unfortunately, no visitors are permitted on board the Queen Isabel during our voyage. WHAT IF THERE S AN EMERGENCY BEFORE OR DURING OUR CRUISE? If before the cruise, inform Holly Bryan or your Member Services team immediately. If on the cruise, the best thing to do is to inform the ship staff immediately. The staff on board the Queen Isabel are seasoned veterans who have dealt with many emergencies in their time, and it is likely they can assist much more quickly than anyone in the Denver office. WHAT TIME IS EMBARKATION AND DISEMBARKATION? Embarkation times are included in your final cruise documents. For disembarkation, members should plan on vacating their staterooms by 9 a.m. and wait to be called for disembarkation starting around 9:30 a.m. WHERE DO WE DOCK IN PORTO, PORTUGAL? We dock on the Vila Nova da Gaia side of the Douro River (exact quay TBD), approximately 10 miles from Porto Airport, also known as Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport (OPO), and takes around 20 minutes by car. Return flights can be anytime on Sunday, October 21, 2018, as Queen Isabel will be in Porto, Portugal the evening before. 35

Uniworld strongly recommends wheelchair guests travel with someone who is able to assist them both ashore and at sea as Uniworld may be unable to offer special assistance. Please note that wheel-on and/or wheel-off access may not be available at some ports-of-call. Wheelchair guests must bring their own collapsible wheelchair. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS All travel documents (air and cruise tickets, passport, medical card, etc.) are the guest s responsibility. It is also the guest s responsibility to obtain any necessary visas and public health documents for all applicable ports and to comply with all customs requirements.
