The Addiction Services Act Regulations (EC301/85) are revoked. 2. These regulations come in force on September 2, EXPLANATORY NOTES SECTION 1 revokes the Regulations made under the Addiction Services Act, which was repealed in SECTION 2 provides for the commencement of these regulations. 9 280 EC EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TOURISM AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (MEMORUM OF UNDERSTING ON THE ACCELERATED GROWTH SERVICE) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT BANK OF CANADA EXPORT DEVELOPMENT CANADA THE PROVINCES OF NEW BRUNSWICK, NEWFOUNDL LABRADOR NOVA SCOTIA Pursuant clauses 10(a) and (b) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism and Minister responsible for Innovation PEI enter in a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency; a representative of Business Development Bank of Canada; a representative of Export Development Canada; and the Provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia, as represented by their respective Ministers responsible for business, pursue a collaborative regional approach address the challenges facing High Growth Firms in Atlantic Canada utilizing the Accelerated Growth Service (AGS) while respecting individual jurisdictions, legislation and mandates, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement.
