2 Durability: Four weeks of use and abuse with no signs of wear and tear. Plenty of dropping and tearing away at the handles and so far so good Holding Capacity: Medium Bag: 120 lbs / Small Bag: 80 lbs My thoughts: Josh Henkin, since day one, has always shown me how thorough he is in all that he does. To no surpirse this bag is just the same. He took the time to plan it out and construct a bag that is heavy duty and VERY versatile. I love the various handles that are on the bag, as opposed to only having handles on the ends of the bag. The handles that are placed on various spots on the bag ramp up the variations you can use with exercises such as cleans, military presses, front squats and bent over rows. Some may argue using the handles takes away from the grip factor, but, having more variations always adds to the fun of the workout and you can always grab the bag or the outer handles for extra grip work. My partner had a REAL tough time cleaning the bag using the handles because the weight kept pulling the bag down. It required a different motion than he was used to and certainly turned the clean and press movement into a wrestling match! I thought this was awesome to have such difficulty using this new bag compared to our others bags.

3 I loaded my bag to lbs. I placed a full bag of 50 lb pea gravel, and two more large zip lock bags (as Ross Enamait does with double bagging zip lock bags). Fitting in the two extra mini bags was tough, so if you wanna fill each bag to capacity it seems to me that you have to make several smaller bags to get the bag filled to capacity. 5 If you are still concerned about spending $ 65 - $ 75 on a sandbag knowing you can buy 3 or 4 duffel bags from an army navy store I can see your point. I will still purchase bags from the army navy store (both the sea bag and the duffel bag style) because I feel it is key to have a variety of shapes / sizes for the odd objects. Would I purchase Josh s bags in bulk and go only with them? Personally, I would not do so because I want the variety of shapes / sizes for the odd objects. Will I purchase another bag from Josh, I certainly will. But, do I think these bags would be great in bulk orders for others? Yes, and primarily for the following: small studio owners, schools / colleges, in home / traveling trainers, general public fitness centers. Josh s bag is less likely to be messy compared to my army navy sea bag that is duct taped at the top! In addition, it does lookmore user friendly which can be a good thing if you re clientele tend to get intimidated by training Underground style. Would I get Josh s bag instead of the K 2 bag, yes I would. You get what you pay for in this instance. In addition, Josh is much easier to get a hold of should there be aproblem. As you can see at Josh stands by his products through and through. Knowing Josh personally I have found this to be true time and again. Do I recommend you to get one of Josh s bags? I suggest having a few different bags and Josh s bag is one of them. A great set up would be one army / navy duffel bag, an army / navy sea bag and one of Josh s bags. All three of these bags are different shapes, sizes and hold different weights. What would I like to see changed on the bag: I would still like to have an even larger bag! I like filling in larger bags of pea gravel as opposed to the small sizes. So when Josh comes out with an XL bag I ll be picking it up asap!

6 Overall: Yes, the bag is a bit pricey, but high quality. I would be pissed if it began tearing and handles were falling off. Although it s only been 1 month of training we shall see how it holds up from here on out. The fact that it has been so versatile and durable doesn t make me worry about the cost.
