2 YOUjoin us WE HOPE Roseau River Bible Camp is a great place for children and teens to build friendships, explore their faith and experience the great outdoors. Summer camp is RRBC s main emphasis and the resource by which we carry out our mission and our vision. All summer we run camps for grades 1-12 along with leadership development camps. RRBC realizes that parents have a desire for their children to experience new opportunities, but along with that desire is the need to feel confident that your children are safe and secure. RRBC s goal is to provide a safe environment with a caring staff that has been screened and trained and that have a personal relationship with God. When your children come to camp, it is the purpose of our staff to lead and guide in daily activities and to support the campers in having the best camp experience possible.

3 Directions Travel south of Winnipeg on HWY #59, through the town of Roseau River and.8 km south of the Roseau River bridge. Turn west onto road 12N (right, just after the brown provincial hwy sign and opposite the Roseau River Park). Drive 3.2 km west on the gravel road, then turn north (right) onto the camp s driveway (at the white camp sign). 4 2018 camps FAMILY CAMP DATES: May 25-27, Aug 3-6 COST: 80/person or 300/family. Experience camp as an entire family. All of our activities will be available. Bring your RV or say in one of our cabin as you worship and learn together.

5 DATES COST GRADES YOB PEE WEE Children will be introduced to the wonders of camp through this two night camp. Camp activities are structured as a cabin group allowing additional friendship building opportunities and a sense of security for the new campers. Highlights include a sampling of skills, high energy, engaging chapel sessions, and a fun-filled evening carnival. June Aug JUNIOR Campers can start with a shorter week of camp to ease into the camp experience. In their week here campers will participate in skills of their choosing and learn about God s love for them through daily chapels and cabin devotions times. Campers will love the age specific wide games and personal connections with the staff. July 2-6 July 29 - Aug PRE-TEEN Enjoy a slightly longer week of camp as campers have a full five days of their activities. A themed banquet and late night camp fires are always a hit. Learn about God s plan and how He wants you to be a part of it. July Aug TEEN Get away for an awesome week at camp. Build strong, God-filled relationships during this full week of camp. Receive specialized training and challenges in the skills and learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ and what He can do for you! July 8-14 July SR. TEEN Don t miss this jam packed week of fun. Grow deeper in your walk with God through relevant chapel sessions and deep cabin devotions. Take all the skills a step further as we break out activities exclusive to this camp! Aug

This historic tool and pastime is making a comeback, don t miss out! Who says the next Picasso couldn t start their career at camp? Learn a variety of artistic styles ranging from pencil sketching to water colour, charcoal to acrylic. You never know what you might get to experience in a week of art skill! Enjoy the thrills of BMX biking as you ride the dirt track. Challenge yourself to the big hill on the trail ride or show off your skills on the quarter pipe. Lay aside the business of camp and spend some time working on your very own project to take home. Let those creative juices flow and see what comes out by the end of the week. Learn the tricks of the theater as you engage in acting games to improve your stage presence. Prepare a skit as a group and then hit the stage to present your creation to all your friends. Enjoy your moment in the spotlight. Always one of our most popular skills so register early to ensure a spot! Spend the week learning new riding skills then end it off with an exciting trail ride. Our horses are well trained and good with all levels of riders.

8 RAFTING RIFLERY ROPES New! SLINGSHOT PAINTBALL SPORTS SWIMMING SURVIVAL What better way to spend a summer day than to be floating down the river in a raft. Cool off in the calm of the river and ride the rapids from the safety of the raft. Availability is dependent on the level of the river. Hone in on your marksmanship skills while having a great time with your friends at camp. Play different target shooting games and shoot at some fun targets. Enjoy awesome team building games next to the scenic Roseau River. Race against the clock on our low ropes course and challenge yourself on the bouldering wall. Available only for Pre-Teen, Teen, and Sr. Teen. Embrace your inner secret agent as you sneak around the bush or through our speed ball course playing a variety of paintball games using the historical tool of a slingshot rather than the traditional paintball marker. Play a variety of sports from basketball, volleyball, Frisbee, or soccer. Play some awesome water games on hot days and older age groups end the week with bubble ball games! Cool off in the pool, hanging out with your friends and cabin leaders playing games or just chilling, whatever you prefer. Learn all about the great outdoors. Build shelters from the supplies found around you in the bush, build fires and learn how to make some yummy snacks over the fire.

11 BMX Horsemanship Kayak Paintball Wilderness Get ready to enjoy an awesome week of riding. Come ride on our dirt track, riding trails, ramps and challenge the obstacle course. You will also learn bike and track maintenance. Campers will learn all aspects of horsemanship: proper riding techniques, saddling, care of the horses and also doing fence and tack maintenance. In addition to daily trail rides, there will also be chapel and devotional time. Learn the basics of kayaking in the safety of our pool before taking epic trips on the beautiful Roseau River. Take in God s creation from a whole new perspective as you observe and learn to appreciate the unique experience river kayaking provides. Campers will have a blast playing many different scenarios and games in the bush and on the field while learning valuable life lessons. Other activities include daily chapel/devotional times, team building exercises, equipment maintenance and fort building. Are you interested in a week of challenging your outdoor skills? Do you enjoy the outdoors? If so then you will love this Fanatic Camp. It will be a week of stretching your outdoor skills, learning to cook over a fire, survival games, bush craft and much more. Through each tier of SLT you will learn to share your faith, overcome the challenges of life, and learn about being a camp leader. APPLY ONLINE! Limited space available

13 SLT 1: WORK CREW Learn general indoor and outdoor camp maintenance individually or as a group. Jobs include cleaning bathrooms, dish washing, and garbage removal; larger projects may include painting, gardening, gathering firewood, etc. Bible teaching and camp activities are two main aspects of the program as well. Time is set aside each day to study the Word together, and the group will participate in camp activities together in the evening. Graduates of SLT 1 may be given priority when applying to SLT 2. Max 4 boys/4 girls per session. DATES COST AGES YOB July 2-14, July July 29 - Aug 10 Aug SLT 2: CABIN LEADER PREP & WRANGLER IN TRAINING At the second level of SLT, participants learn a specific role that they work toward for three weeks. Spend week one studying, team building, learning about God and growing together. Continue your discipleship training in week two by learning role-specific skills, spending time in-cabin (CLP) or at the stables (WIT). Finish your training by becoming a junior staff member as either a Jr. Cabin Leader (CLP) or Jr. Wrangler (WIT)! Max 6 boys/6 girls per session. July 2-20 July 15 - Aug

14 FEES & INFORMATION Send your registration in early because most weeks fill up quickly! Maximum 115 campers per week. Registration is also available online at Prohibited Tobacco, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, knives, fire-arms, electronics and cellphones. Tuck Each day the campers have a time when they can choose a snack from the tuck shop. The prices listed for summer camps include tuck. Camp clothing and picture CD's can also be purchased. Transportation Bussing is available to pick up and drop off before and at the end of camp. The cost is 100 and arrangements are made on an individual basis. Circle the closest location on your registration form. Please be on time, we cannot wait for late pick-ups. Refunds The 50 registration fee is non-refundable (except for illness). No refund will be given to campers leaving early. Any refund requests must be made by September 1, Roseau Tech Policy Camp is a unique experience that we feel allows us to escape the fast-paced reality that has become our world. As a result we have decided that our staff and campers are to be electronic free. This means no phones, laptops, ipods, or anything else that is electronic. Thank you for helping create a great camp experience for everyone.

15 DISCOUNT INITIATIVES All discounts must be claimed on registrations before paying. No refunds will be given later. Watch our Facebook page and website for campership giveaways! Early Bird Discount When a camper applies before March 1 st they will receive a 10 discount. Also receive a free T-shirt if you pay before April 1 st. Family Discount A 25 discount may be taken by the third and subsequent children of the same family. To qualify, all registrations must be submitted in one package. Referral Program When a returning camper brings a friend that has not attended Roseau River Bible Camp previously, or in the past 3 years, both campers receive 20 off the registration fee. Note that the referral cannot take place between immediate family. Servant Leadership Training Those applying for the SLT program may choose to memorize a specified list of Bible passages to receive 50 discount. Contact the camp for more details.
