As an example the company knows of products supplied 13 years ago which are still in daily use. Each bin sold has a unique serial number allowing full product tracking to be carried out. EHP sackholders have been designed with key features to aid infection control: Off the wall design: All EHP sackholders are designed to sit away from the wall preventing wall damage. Apart from the huge cost of repairing the damage it is also somewhere that can harbour infection. Easi-clean design: These sackholders have been designed around being easy to clean and have few areas where dirt can gather. Hands Free Lids: The lids are designed to sit inside the frame at the top of the sackholder which stops anyone touching or opening the lid by hand. This is an infection control method and leaves the unit only operable by the foot pedal. Easi-clean Bungee Bag Holder: EHP bungees are specially designed to be easily cleaned due to a special sheathing (containing polyester, nylon and multifilament polypropylene). This aids hospital infection control and makes them extremely hard wearing. Silent Closing Lid Options: This reduces the speed that the lid closes making the bin quieter. However it also reduces any displacement of particles from the bin into the air and surrounding environment helping hospital infection control. Anti-microbial Paint Option: This option helps hospital infection control as it adds and anti-bacterial element to the paint within our products which helps prevent the spread of bacteria. 3
