You may also draw on the Bible and your own personal experiences to complete this booklet. This Review Booklet must be completed before taking part in the assessment for this unit. The adventure began at 8.00am and you plan to be picked up at your expected destination at 5 pm the next day You are really enjoying the hike. The group is working well together and the scenery is fantastic. At 4.00pm on the first day, one of the participant s boots sole begins to flap. The sun will set at 6.05pm. The wind is blowing gently from the SE and there are an increasing number of clouds on the eastern horizon. a. How would you respond? b. What changes would you make to the trip plans? At 1.00am a sudden gust of wind flattens one of the tents and snaps one of the poles. There are visible stars in the night sky. Every one is awake. The wind is coming in gusts from a southerly direction. The temperature has dropped dramatically. c. How would you respond? d. What changes would you make to the trip plans? At 10.30am, the next morning, two of the straps on a pack are accidentally cut while pulling it up a small cliff face. The wind is coming form a NE direction. It is a clear and warm day. The cliff face is in the shade. The waratahs are just beginning to bloom. The creek is flowing in a westerly direction. e.
