2 GENERAL INFORMATION Dear Camper & Parents, It s that time of year to think about summer plans! We want to invite you to what promises to be an incredible year at camp. In the midst of changing times, many things have remained the same: the same fun activities, building relationships with Christ and each other, as well as our mission and vision in Outdoor Ministries. We know the economy is at a low, and we have taken that into consideration with incredible incentives. Take advantage of them and register to spend a week with us today! Make this a great summer and join us as we experience God s power and grace. The purpose of VP Ministries is to provide a safe environment in which to bring people of all ages into a vital, living relationship with Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

With no electricity or shower houses, campers learn to survive in the wilderness. Explore building fires, cooking basic meals, boating and canoeing techniques and first aid basics. SPLASH! CAMP: Just like the name implies, everything we ll do involves water in some way or another. Just how many activities can we come up with that will require water? Games in the pool! Games in the lake! Games on the land! BEGINNERS: This unique overnight camping experience is designed to give younger campers a positive experience in a supportive Christian environment. Come enjoy camp with Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales as your hosts. (Registration discounts do not apply to this session)

5 CAMP VICK INVESTIGATES: Join the Camp Vick Investigates Team, as we hold a weeklong investigation of a crime at Camp Vick. Spend the week to discover which Camp Vick staff member is the true criminal by learning about fingerprints, shoe prints, tracking weather and much more! The week will culminate in a trial of the accused staff member. OUTDOOR EXPLORERS: Come enjoy a week of fun exploration and cool experiments. Join us as we record our own earthquakes, predict the weather, chart our own trails, track animals, cook meals over a campfire and so much more. EXTRAVAGANZA WEEK: This fun-packed week includes games, crafts, swimming, boating, nature, singing, stories and a daily theme party. Make new friends while deepening your relationship with God. OLYMPICS WEEK (SPORTS): This summer welcomes the London 2012 Olympic Games and Camp Vick is going to join in the Olympic fun. We will celebrate as athletes from around the world join to compete. The Camp Vick community will prepare for our own Olympic individual and team events, culminating in a day trip where we will join in our own version of the Olympiad with campers from Pathfinder Lodge. My favorite part of SPLASH camp was splash tag, the giant slip-n-slide, swimming and boating.

Let our Camp Vick judges/coaches work with you to perfect the talents God has blessed you with (like singing, music, dancing, puppetry and much more). During Outdoor Explorers we used a map and compass and learned how to tell bearings and degrees.

7 AMAZING RACE: Are you ready for a challenge? Spend a week at camp in an epic game of wits, strength and courage. Participate with your team in the weeklong competition full of route markers, roadblocks, fast-forwards, U-turns, pit stops and rewards. Also includes a day trip to KINGDOM BOUND at DARIEN LAKE! OLYMPICS WEEK (SPORTS): This summer welcomes the London 2012 Olympic Games and Camp Vick is going to join in the Olympic fun. We will celebrate as athletes from around the world join to compete. The Camp Vick community will prepare for our own Olympic individual and team events, culminating in a day trip where we will join in our own version of the Olympiad with campers from Pathfinder Lodge. FRONTIER SURVIVOR: Can you be the Ultimate Survivor? Compete as part of a team in daily challenges and reward competitions, build your own fires, cook your own meals and enjoy this unique Frontier Survivor program! Each night you will gather together for a torch ceremony on your quest to learn what it takes to be an Ultimate Survivor. I love it here at Camp Vick and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about God or have a better relationship with God!

They are available from May 11 to October 8 and include a large dining hall/meeting area, tents and enclosed lean-to cabins. Several smaller program/sleeping buildings are available as well. Restrooms are located outside sleeping quarters. Linens and bedding are required. For your convenience, our secluded Frontier camp can also be used to accommodate your group. Additional space is available in our Family Camp area for thirty tents, trailers and RVs. Please call (315) ext. 11 to check availability. 9 RENTAL INFORMATION Rental rates May October excluding Special Events Weeks Seasonal Campsite Rate (May 11 - October 8) $575 Tent/Trailer Sites $20 per night Cabin with washhouse near-by Area 2 & 4 $25 per night Cabin with attached bathroom (Nurses Lodge & Cottage) $45 per night Day Camp Vick (full day 8:00-5:00) ~ no meals FULL HALF Dining Hall $100 $50 Ball Field $50 Free Pool Staff lifeguards (when available) are $75 per day up to 20 people; add $5 for each additional person. This includes a combined time of 3 hours of lifeguarding for pool and boating, additional time is $2 per person per hour. Full Meal Plan 3 meals & 1 snack plus coffee, hot and cool water throughout the day: $25 per day per person (ages 13-Adult) $18 per day per person (ages 6-12) FREE children 5 years and younger Single Meal Rate ADULT CHILD (6-12) Breakfast $6 $6 Lunch $8 $8 Dinner $10 $10 Snack $3.50 $3.50

10 Incentives for 2012 Any Senior High camper (entering grades 9-12) who attends the National Youth Convention in Washington D.C., can attend 1 senior high session for only $150. Invite a friend, who has never been to Camp Vick or Pathfinder Lodge before, to attend one of our weeklong sessions and both campers will receive $25 off the registration fee. Simply mail your registration form and fee along with your friend s form and fee. Be sure to check the appropriate box on the registration form indicating your desire to take advantage of this offer. Weeklong sessions start on Sunday and end on Friday. (Cannot be combined with any other discounts.) Register and pay in full for one of our weeklong sessions at camp by May 15 th, and you ll receive $25 off the normal fee. If campers are attending the same session as a buddy, deduct $20, or $10 if attending Beginner Camp. Be sure to send in registrations and payments together. Families with multiple children attending Camp Vick or Pathfinder Lodge this summer, each sibling may deduct $20. Avoid late fees of $20 by registering (via mail) at least 2 weeks before the camp session begins; or $25 if registering at camp. FULL PAYMENT is due 14 days before the beginning of the camp session. Scholarship Funds Each year camp grants more in scholarships to families in need than what is received as donations into this fund. If you would like to make a donation to the camp scholarship fund, please make checks payable to VP MINISTRIES and mail to Vick and Pathfinder Camp and Conference Ministries, 5865 E. Seneca Turnpike, Jamesville, NY All gifts to the scholarship fund are used exclusively to help more kids enjoy camp!
