2 Our Site The Baptist Camp and Conference Center, affectionately known as Camp Lebanon, is nestled in the foothills of Cushetunk Mountain in Lebanon, New Jersey. The 110 acre site is 90 minutes from Camden and an hour from New York City. A brook meanders through the wildlife-filled woods and past our lake. The lake is ideal for fishing, sailing, canoeing and rowing. A pool is available for both instructional swimming and water fun. In God s Image Genesis 1:27 Acres of field areas are the focal point of many activities with a softball field, GAGA pit, a basketball court, a low-ropes course, human foosball and an archery range. Our facilities also include a craft shop, an indoor chapel, which can be used as a recreation building, and an outdoor chapel in the woods - our Green Cathedral. Four villages, consisting of cabins and bath facilities, are located on the upper part of the site. The Angelus Bell calls campers to vespers. The lighted cross on the hill stands as a beacon to the surrounding community. My Promise For 68 years Baptist Camp Lebanon has strived to give campers solid Biblical lessons combined with a lot of games, challenges and opportunities. As we continue to serve the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, Baptist Camp Lebanon will continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a warm and friendly setting as we model the love and compassion that Jesus Christ demonstrates throughout the scriptures. As the director of Baptist Camp Lebanon I promise to seek out the best summer staff possible. I will look for committed adults and young people to work with your children and to care for their well-being. I will always conduct interviews and background checks to help assure that your children are in good hands. 4 Sailing Camp I 6 10 June 24 June 30 L-146 $ (before 5/1/18 - $400.00) (after 6/1/18 - $460.00) Sailing Camp II 6 10 July 22 July 28 L-147 $ (before 5/1/18 - $400.00) (after 6/1/18 - $460.00) In addition to learning to sail, campers will also have plenty of time for small group fellowship through various traditional camp activities. Sailing instruction and practice begin on our own lake and move to Round Valley reservoir when appropriate. Each camper must be a strong swimmer and have the ability to tread water for 5 minutes. All participants will be tested upon arrival. Registration is limited to 28 participants. Junior I Camp 3 & 4 5 & 6 June 24 June 30 L-112 L-121 $ (before 5/1/18 - $420.00) (after 6/1/18 - $480.00) Junior campers will be led by committed Christian counselors through a variety of camp activities including, (but not limited to); swimming, boating, sports, low-ropes challenge course, arts & crafts, archery, worship and Bible studies, and various other electives. Every day will conclude with a fun-filled evening program. In recent years these have included: an illusionist, a juggler, karate demonstrations, animal shows, staff run carnivals, group sports and games, etc. 2 & 3 4 & 5 July 22 July 28 Junior II Camp L-113 L-122 $ (before 5/1/18 - $420.00) (after 6/1/18 - $480.00) Campers in Junior II camp engage in traditional camp activities on site, but also go off site for two field trips. Information for these trips will be provided at drop off. Another awesome activity unique to Junior II, is the annual Friday night barn carnival where cabin groups design and run a game for all campers to enjoy.

Camp Activities you may take advantage of include archery, swimming, snackery, arts and crafts, planned evening events, campfires, or your own family adventures. Dynamic Bible study is provided daily. Evening vespers will be held in the Green Cathedral. Junior High Camp 6, 7 & 8 L-131 July 01 July 07 $ (before 5/1/18 - $430.00) (after 6/1/18 - $490.00) This week emphasizes Christian growth and a wide variety of camp activities such as swimming, boating, sports, crafts, ropes course, and archery. The week s activities will include an offsite trip. Come prepared to experience fun in a new dimension. You will be challenged to play old games in new ways. Being flexible and open minded is a must. Camp Survival 6-8 L-167 July 08 July 14 $ (before 5/1/18 - $460.00) (after 6/1/18 - $530.00) At Camp Survival we will embark on an adventure to discover the endless wonders of God s love as well as the beauty of his creation found in nature. Our Christ focused activities will centered on surviving in the wilderness such as hiking trails, rock climbing, camping in tents, cooking on an open fire, camping tips and pointers, and so much more. We will all grow closer and appreciate the love of God and the part of creation that may go unnoticed. Primary Mini Camp 1 & 2 L-170 July 22 July 25 $ (before 5/1/18 - $260.00) (after 6/1/18 - $320.00) This condensed camp experience provides special TLC for our youngest campers - those who may be coming for the first time or those not yet ready for a full week. Campers will be introduced to traditional camp activities - arts & crafts, swimming, music, Bible study, games, etc. Mini Camp will also take a field trip to the very popular Crayola Experience! Lebanon Performing Arts Camp 4, 5 & 6 L & 8 L-142 July 08 July 14 $ (before 5/1/18 - $430.00) (after 6/1/18 - $490.00) At LebPAC all campers participate with professional leaders and teachers in chorus, drama, movement and art to prepare and perform a musical production on Saturday. There will also be additional electives and regular camp activities. Campers wishing to participate in band must bring their instruments. The performance on Saturday is open to all family & friends.

6 Latino Camp 1-12 L-150 July 15 July 21 $ (before 5/1/18 - $400.00) (after 6/1/18 - $460.00) Under the auspices of the Latino pastors of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, this program is for anyone ages 6 to 20. Although this is a bilingual experience, most sessions will be in Spanish. The program emphasizes Christian growth through a number of activities. During most sessions, campers are separated by age groups. Senior High Camp 9 12 L-166 July 29 Aug 04 $ (before 5/1/18 - $440.00) (after 6/1/18 - $500.00) Senior High Camp features plenty of time for campers to enjoy fellowship and to explore what it means to be a Christian in today s world. In addition to various learning encounters, the days will be filled with activities including swimming, boating, fishing, sports, low-ropes course, archery and music. Evenings will feature guest speakers, films, videos and other special events. Baseball Camp 5-6 L-133 July 29 August 4 $ (before 5/1/18 - $460.00) (after 6/1/18 - $530.00) Camp Lebanon s first sports camp will not only engage young campers with the fundamentals of baseball, but also the value of good sportsmanship, teamwork and faith in Jesus Christ. The week includes practices on two of the areas best little league fields in Hunterdon County, guest professional instructors and a visit to TD Bank Ballpark - home of the Somerset Patriots. The visit will include a tour of the stadium and tickets to the game. Campers will also engage in other fun camp activities. *Campers should bring a baseball glove, baseball spikes (no metal cleats!), baseball bat (optional), Bible and a great attitude. 5 & 6 Limit - 22 *If you do not have the appropriate equipment and currently do not have the additional resources to purchase them, please contact Camp Lebanon.
