4 DAY CAMP $215 per session Entering grades 1-6 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. We offer week long camp sessions. Day camp starts the first day of summer vacation for Lexington Public Schools and is offered up to the Friday before the first day of Lexington Public School. Campers are placed in groups according to their grade. Once in their groups, they enjoy a variety of daily activities such as Red Cross level swim lessons, arts & crafts, physical education, explorations, group dynamics, and free swim. Each session also has a theme and campers will participate in either a camp wide special event or a theme based special lunch. The Hayden Hullabaloo will be August 17th and the Patriot Overnights will be July 12th and August 2nd. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (3:30 6:00) option. GYMNASTICS CAMP $265 per session Entering Grades 1-9 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We offer week long sessions of gymnastics camp. Gymnasts will get a work out as they practice on each element. Gymnasts will participate in both large and small group settings. Attention will be given to each camper s ability as they work towards challenging themselves. Campers will also participate in arts & crafts, and enjoy a daily recreation swim. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (4:00 6:00) DANCE CAMP $260 per session Entering Grades K-3 in September July 2-6 (closed 7/4) Gr K-2 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM August 6-10 Gr 1-3 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Hayden s summer dance camp is a week long camp that exposes students to numerous styles of dance. Throughout the week they ll get to learn the basics of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and acrodance all while having fun with games and props. Dancers also get to participate in daily craft projects and end of the week performance for family and friends! We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (3:00 6:00) option. CAMP TRICON Half Day $155 Full Day $220 per session Age 4 through Kindergarten Camp day is 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM or half-day option 9:00 AM-12:30 PM. We offer week long sessions for our little campers. In Camp Tricon children will participate in a variety of daily activities designed to help build social skills, develop their creativity, instill a positive self-image, and introduce them to the wonderful world of camp! The children will participate in daily physical education programs, arts & crafts, swim lesson, group dynamics, story time, and more! Each session has a theme and campers will participate in either a camp wide event or a theme based special lunch. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (3:30 6:00) option. LITTLE GYMNASTS $180 per session Ages 3-6 June 11th-15th 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We are offering a half day program for our little gymnasts. Campers will practice each event with fun obstacle courses to conquer new skills. There will also be group activities, games, time for snack, as well as a daily arts & crafts project. We offer a Lunch Bunch 12:00-12:45 NUGGET NINJAS $180 per session Ages 3-6 June 11th-15th 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM. June 18th-22nd 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This camp is for the littlest ninjas! These ninjas will get to try our trickiest obstacle courses inspired by our Ultimate Warrior classes. They will also work on getting strong, jumping higher, and balancing longer. Each day will include a group game, snack time, as well as an arts & crafts project. We offer a Lunch Bunch 12:00-12:45 LITTLE DANCERS $175 per session Ages 3-6 June 4th-8th 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. June 18th-22nd 12:45 PM-3:45 PM Lil Dancers is a 3 hour camp where students will get to learn basic ballet, tap and play creative movement games all while having fun with props like wands and scarves. They also have snack and participate in a daily craft project. Come and join the fun! We offer a Lunch Bunch 12:00-12:45
5 SPOTLIGHT CAMPS $220 per session Entering grades 1-8 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM Each session will be programmed around that week s Spotlight theme. Each day will also include free swim and club time featuring crafts, board games, and more. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (3:30 6:00) SHOW STOPPERS July 16th-20th Gr 1-3 Aug 13th-17th Gr 4-8 We stop the show with our dancing, acting, and singing! We ll explore different emotions, scenes, and hilarious improv games. Don t miss the big show at the end of the week! COOKING CHALLENGE July 9th-13th Gr 4-8 Aug 6th-10th Gr 3-6 Learn how to make your own breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert! We ll chop, bake, cook, saute, and mix to create our masterpieces. We ll work from recipes and then put you to the test in the Cooking Challenge! HAYDEN PIONEERS July 30th-Aug 3rd Gr 3-6 We re going to explore the great outdoors and work together as a team! We ll learn how to set up a tent and a functioning camp site. We ll try orienteering, belaying, team-building games, and nature activities. Come join the fun! SWIM CAMP July 2nd-6th Gr 1-4 (closed 7/4) Aug 20th-24th Gr 4-8 We love competitive swimming! Come and find out what swimming on a team is like in the Hayden Pool with workouts, drills, and equipment. We ll swim sets, work on your strokes, play pool games and have some dry fun too! MUST BE RED CROSS LEVEL 3 & UP FUN FINE ARTS July 23rd-27th Gr 1-3 Are you a budding artist, illustrator, or designer? This camp is for you! We ll draw, paint, glue, cut, and create all week! What will you create? FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS June 25th-29th Gr 5-8 Have you ever thought about being a coach, babysitter, tutor, or even a counselor? Would you like to earn your own spending money and have fun doing it? We ll get you started! This terrific new camp will show you the tricks of the trade to get new clients, keep them coming back, and get referrals! TRIP CAMP $385 per session Entering grades 6-8 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM This is a very popular camp offered to our middle school members. We have 4 one week sessions of camp. Each day campers will go off campus to a local attraction. Past trips have included Water Country, Canobie Lake Park, sight-seeing cruises, Kimball Farms, and more! All entry fees are included in the camp fee. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (4:00 6:00) ADVENTURE CAMP $385 per session Entering grades 6-8 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Join us for a week full of fun! This camp is for middle school members who are looking to challenge themselves through a variety of day trips. Possible trips include canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (4:00 6:00) EXTENDED DAY AM $42 PM $85 per session Age 4 - grade 6 in September AM Extended is 8:00-9:00 AM PM Extended is 3:00-6:00 PM We offer a weekly extended day program for most of our camp sessions. Choose our AM program, PM program or both. PM participants will receive an afternoon snack, have time in the gym, participate in daily art projects, group games and outdoor play. PM Extended is NOT available to half day campers. BASKETBALL CAMP $215 per session Entering grades 1-8 in September Camp day is 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Under the direction of Coach Bob Farias and Dan Holbrook, campers will learn the basics of basketball in a high-energy, fun environment. Through competitive drills, contests, and games campers will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Games will be played every day. Campers will receive group and individual instruction to help improve their ability. All skill levels are welcome. We offer both an AM (8:00) and a PM (3:00 6:00)
6 CAMP REGISTRATION Procedure & Information All campers MUST be current Hayden members. A $30 non-refundable deposit for each child for each camp session must accompany a completed application. Our health history form must be completed by parents and sent in with the child s current physical health form which must include the child s immunization dates and the physician s signature. All camp fee balances must be paid by May 10th. We accept Master Card, Visa, Cash and checks. Refunds less the $30 deposit per session may be requested up to one week before the camp session begins. No refunds or transfers after that point. All camps are supervised by the Centre s full-time professional staff. They are assisted by a friendly, well-qualified staff of teachers, college students, specialists, and young professionals whose every effort is directed toward making sure each camper has an enjoyable learning experience. Camp Directors reserve the right to require the withdrawal of any camper who is judged to be unsuited for the program. Parent Reminders Be mindful of the weather and dress your child appropriately. Pack a non-perishable lunch and plenty of water. No glass containers. Campers must wear socks and sneakers. NO open toed shoes, sandals or crocs. This is for the child s safety. Pack an extra set of clothes in case of mishap, wet weather, or mud. You may arrange to leave a set of clothes here at camp with your child s counselor. Please apply sunscreen prior to arriving at camp. Staff will encourage your child to reapply throughout the day after swim, recreation, etc. Label ALL child s belongings. Please remember to check LOST and FOUND daily for any lost items. Campers should not bring valuables, toys, or money to camp. We do not allow cell phones, hand-held video games, ipods or outside toys to be carried throughout the day. No gum allowed at camp Campers are not allowed to use the Vending Machines. Parents are allowed to visit camp during designated Parent Visiting Days (TBA). On these days you may participate in any of your child s activities. This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health. Make Sure You Notify the Camp Office If... If your child is going to be absent or tardy please call Hayden at (781) before 8:30 AM. This is extremely important. If your child is leaving early, the camp office should be notified by a phone call or a note so we can make sure they are ready to leave on time. If your child is allowed to go home with someone other than a parent, please fill out a Hayden Camp Pick Up Authorization form at the camp office. Please let us know if your child is not swimming for the day otherwise they will be expected to go in the water. Camper s Checklist A labeled backpack to carry all camper s gear. A bathing suit and towel (Day Camp swims twice a day) Goggles Sweatshirt or Jacket Sun block Non-perishable lunch Extra change of clothes in a labeled plastic bag Water bottle labeled
7 SUMMER AQUATICS INTENSIVE SWIM LESSONS Entering Gr K & Up $130 per session Small group swim lessons are offered Monday - Friday for a series of 10 half hour lessons. Classes are held at 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Class assignment is determined by ages and swim levels of all those who apply. Hayden will call to confirm class assignment. Hayden MUST have a Red Cross level on file or have swim test prior to May 27th. Session 1 July 2nd - July 13th $117 (closed 7/4) Session 2 July 16th - July 27th Session 3 July 30th - August 10th ages We offer a flexible schedule, customized enrollment options and both AM and PM extended hours Additional information and rates available at Please Registration Begins March 12th josiahpreschool@jwhayden.org to set up a tour PLUNGE MEMBERSHIP June August $85 $75 for Senior Citizen Lap Swim Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30-8:30 AM Monday - Thursday 6:00-7:40 PM For Lexington Residents ages 18 and up. This membership allows access to Hayden Open Gym times, Hayden Weight Room, Free Skate times (additional fee for Free Skate), Hayden Lap Swim (Plunge) Times and allows registration for classes at both the Centre and the Ice Facility. SENIOR SUMMER SWIM Monday - Friday 4:15-5:00 PM $40 The pool is reserved for our Senior Swim Members only during this time. Come swim laps, water walk, and socialize in the Hayden pool. Hayden After School grades K Registration for children not currently enrolled begins March 27th at 7:00 AM Both Online and at the Centre Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
