5 AMP At overnight camp, kids discover who they are and what they can achieve. Through activities led by enthusiastic and nurturing counselors, campers learn teamwork, problem solving, independence and more. LIT s & CIT s develop team-building skills, learn how to be role models, get instruction from mentors, and execute their own service projects or camp programs. 6 DAY By trying a wide range of activities, kids learn about their interests and develop new skills and talents, under the careful guidance of Y Staff. Campers are placed in trail groups by age, and explore a wide variety of age appropriate activities with their counselor. There s no need to pack a lunch for a day at Camp Ohiyesa! Our day camp program includes a lunch and a snack daily. Day Camp is for both boys and girls entering grades K-10.

CAMP Our caring staff helps campers learn about the

training, and extensive background checks.

7 CAMP Our caring staff helps campers learn about the world, develop interpersonal skills, and engage in new and creative activities. Most staff are college students focused on youth development or education. Staff are hired based on interviews, experience, training, and extensive background checks. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and receive over 100 hours of training focusing on youth development, leadership skills, and activity planning.

8 RANCH CAMP SADDLE CLUB Day campers entering grades 5-8. Campers are grouped by riding level to learn and improve beginning and intermediate riding skills, plus daily horse care. JR. SADDLE CLUB Day campers entering grades 3-4. An introduction to horseback riding and care for younger campers.

11 PECIALTY CAMPS CSI CAMP Boys & Girls Grades 3-8 Campers work together to solve a crime scenario throughout the week. With the assistance of visitors in law enforcement, campers gather evidence, interview suspects, cast shoe prints, explore fingerprinting, and more. SPECIALTIES Boys & Girls entering grades 3-8 See Dates & Registration page for specialty dates. Learn to cook, build and program a robot, construct a man-made boat, survive the outdoors, and much more! Campers will also attend their specialty activity daily and still experience other great camp activities. INCLUSION CAMP Boys & Girls, ages 7-16, with special needs Campers with special needs are able to experience summer camp and enjoy all of our activities with the accommodations necessary to ensure success. Sessions are available during weeks 2, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11.

13 YMCA CAMP NISSOKONE Looking For An Up North Adventure Located in beautiful Oscoda - Home to the majestic AuSable River and the sandy shores of Lake Huron, our partner, Camp Nissokone, is Michigan s premier adventure camp! Offering overnight camp, family camp and teen leadership programs, Nissokone is the perfect up north destination. With activities ranging from sailing, to wakeboarding and tubing, to paintball and our giant waterslide, there s something for everyone at Camp Nissokone.
