1 Day of the Dinosaur Cub Scout Day Camp What is Day Camp? Cub day camp is organized by the council and is a one-to-five day program for Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts. Day camp does not include overnight activities, but can be conducted during the morning, afternoon, and evening hours. Day camps are based on themes and include fun activities in nature, shooting sports, games, aquatics, and crafts. Day camp is lots of fun! All camps are nationally certified. How long is day camp and which camp do I register for? The Las Vegas Area Council offers several camps, offering similar programs, and varying in length. Day camps will vary from four-to-eight hours of programming, typically done in one day; to hours of programming conducted over many days. For a complete list of day camp dates, locations, and times please see the 2015 day camp schedule. Units and individuals are able to choose which camp to register for. How can I participate as a parent? Parents are needed to make every camp a big success! Please volunteer to help with your selected Day Camp! Complete the attached Volunteer Staff Registration Form.
