NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART SENSORS Each sensor has 11 electronic eyes that fan out beams to read an area of 32' by 42' wide. LOOK OUT 1 pg. 3 LOOK OUT 3 pg. 4 Our new infrared sensor debuted in 2011 allowing for 99.9% detection at 32', eliminating false alerts beyond that distance. The sensor sends out a cone-shaped beam that reads an area 32' out and 42' wide. The beam is supported by 11 electronic eyes that read this area simultaneously. 10 ORDER PICKER & THE FIT SENSORS MONITOR MOBILE ORDER PICKER LANES OF TRAFFIC & OVERHEAD HAZARDS The ORDER PICKER is designed to alert fork truck drivers to the presence of order pickers working within a rack row. Each unit has 4 warning lights. Sensors are mounted to detect movement and protect order pickers from unexpected encounters with fork truck drivers or other order pickers. The FIT height warning sensors alert fork truck drivers of overhead obstacles that may be in the line of an elevated mast. If sensor beams are broken, the FIT alerts the driver to potential danger. Sensors can be mounted or hung to protect obstacles. 11 DOCK WATCHER & AUDIBLE ALERTS KEEP DOCK TRAFFIC WORKING WITH SAFETY IN MIND! DOCK WATCHER 1 is designed to monitor one or two dock doors. It senses motion and warns operators and pedestrians of impending danger. It is a ceiling hung sensor that mounts high enough to allow all mobile traffic to clear. DOCK WATCHER 1 DOCK WATCHER 2 DOCK WATCHER 2 is used to protect three to four dock doors. Sensors can point to door locations and also identify motion in traffic areas near the loading dock. Unit hangs from your chains and optional cords are available. They are usually mounted on the bottom of the unit and may be disconnected at any time. WARNING WHEN USING SAFETY PRODUCTS: The use of these or any warning device does not ensure that all drivers or pedestrians will observe or react to a warning signal. Never take the right-of-way for granted. It is the responsibility of the operator to proceed safely before entering an intersection, driving in traffic, backing in or out of a tight location, driving in or around traffic lanes or new pedestrian walkways. The effectiveness of these devices is highly dependent on observation and reaction to the warning provided. It is also important to follow all manufacturer s instructions when installing this equipment. The vehicle operator should ensure that all features of these devices are functional and that their view is not obstructed in any way. It is the user s responsibility to understand the functionality of any warning device and obey all regulations regarding safe operation of a fork truck as written by OSHA.
