6 INSTANT COLD PACK : FAST COOL It is a combined pack having free granules in a pouch with liquid in another pouch within the same pouch. When the pouch containing liquid is pressed / squeezed it breaks & the solid & liquid phase meet, and cooling starts in the pouch. It should be applied where one wants to give cool therapy. 1. Dr. Sabharwal s Excel Cast (Polyurethane Casting Bandage) is more pliable & soft made especially for tropical climate. It is of high strength & is more conformable. 11 shells of alluminium foil & one card board carton. It is high strength, light weight, x-ray transparent. Patient can even swim after putting it on. Directions for Use :- 1. Clean the area to be applied with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol or Povidone Iodine. Dry it & apply some talcum powder, pull the stockinett over the part and apply Cast Padding over it before applying P.U. Bandage. 2. Wear gloves. 3. Choose an adequate size, open a foil pouch one at a time. 4. For best result dip the bandage in tap water for 2 seconds, take out of water & squeeze once. For making fast setting squeeze 2 to 3 times & for medium setting do not squeeze. If very slow setting is required the bandage may be applied without dipping in water & after wrapping & molding, wet it by dipping gloved hands in water 2-3 times & massage it. 5. P.U. Bandage should be applied from the narrow part towards the wide part with the bandage staying close to the desired area. 6. Make sure not to apply P.U. Bandage with the bandage opened long. 7. Apply P.U. Bandage in a spiral motion but not with excessive tension. 8. Mold the Casted area freely with gloved hands dipped in water. Contains cotton threads & heat resistant latex rubber & polyester. Also available latex free quality. KNEE CAP : KOZY KNEE CAP It is woven on imported computerized knitting machines. The bandage can be pure cotton, pure nylon or any other material as per customers demand. It is available in small, medium or large size. Patient can choose the best befitting size for him. Size Available: Large Medium Small TUBULAR ELASTIC NET BANDAGE This is a tubular net bandage which is highly elastic both in length & width wise. Therefore it can be stretched very much to become at least 3 times of its length & 5 times of its width. It is highly breathable. It is composed of polyester, polyamide & latex rubber threads nearly in equal proportion. Net bandage is indicated to hold the dressing / medication in its place. Precautions:- 1. Assure that the bandage is not too tight to occlude blood circulation on the dressed skin. 2. Do not apply directly. 3. Bandage can be sterilized by auto clave. Also available latex free variety. I.P. 0.5% (NT Septic Wipe) Povidone Iodine 5% (Povi Wipe) Chlorhexidine wipe 0.1% (Hexi Wipe) Chlorhexidine plus Cetrimide wipe (Nuvlon Wipe) Normal saline swab - Sterile (XL-Saline Wipe) How to Use:- Tear open the pouch, take out the non-woven swab, clean the wound or the area you want. It will disinfect the area wherever applied / rubbed. Belladona Plaster : XL-Bellaplast Adhesive mass contains Belladonna extract 0.25% w/w. It is useful to relieve the pain of inflamed skin & boils. Size 11cm x 18cm perforated white fabric with black or green coloured adhesive. Instructions:- Do not apply on abraded skin. Do not use if allergy to zinc oxide, natural rubber, woolfat or belladonna extract is known. Apply to clean dry skin only. CAPSICUM PLASTER : XL-CAPSIPLAST The adhesive mass contains capsicum oleoresin 0.5% w/w. The ingredients penetrate deeply & relieve deep seated pains. Provides fast pain relief that lasts longer. Perforated white fabric with red coloured adhesive. Cautions:- Do not apply on abraded or inflamed skin. Do not use if allergy to capsicum oleoresin, zinc oxide, natural rubber or lanolin is known. Capsicum causes skin irritation & increase blood flow to the part applied. If irritation becomes unbearable take out the plaster & wash with soap & water. CRIMPED GAUZE ROLL (Highly Conformable Self Klinging) Highly conformable self klinging. (Compare to Kling Bandage)
