Washington, D.C Grandfather Falls Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. P-1966) Notice of Intent and Pre-Application Document Dear Secretary Bose: Enclosed for filing with the Commission pursuant to 18 CFR 5.5 is Wisconsin Public Service s (WPS) Notice of Intent to file an application for a new license for its Grandfather Falls Hydroelectric Project, FERC No WPS has elected to utilize the Commission s Integrated Licensing Process (ILP) and is also filing the Pre-Application Document (PAD) pursuant to 18 CFR 5.6, which contains a proposed process plan and schedule. Also enclosed are a signed Subscription and Verification Page, Certificate of Service and Distribution List. Pursuant to 36 CFR 800.2(c)(4), WPS requests that the Commission authorize WPS to initiate consultation, as described in Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, with the Wisconsin State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and others regarding relicensing the Project. WPS, also, pursuant to 50 CFR , requests that the Commission designate , requests that the Commission designate WPS as its non-federal representative for the Project for the purpose of information consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, pursuant to Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act.
