26 Castle Hike 16km circular hike from Eurocamp18 to Donnington Castle. A ruined medieval castle, built by Sir Richard Abberbury in 1386 Parliament voted to demolish Donnington Castle in Only the gatehouse survives. Hike also goes through the stunning Snelsmore Common Country Park

28 Horse Hike Transport to start and finish 25 km linear walk along the Ridgeway, an ancient trackway described as Britain s oldest road. At the end of your hike you will see the Uffington Horse and on route visit: Scutchamer Knob An early Iron Age round barrow Grim s Ditch A ditch created in around 300 BC to mark out territories Segsbury Castle An Iron Age hill fort The Blowing Stone Used by King Alfred to rally his Saxon troops Uffington Caste An early Iron Age hill fort Dragon Hill Where legend has it St. George slayed the Dragon Wayland s Smithy A Neolithic Long Barrow and Chamber

29 The Great Stones Hike Possible Rover Scout 12 hour challenge A 40 km walk along the Great Stones Way from Barbury Castle to Stonehenge Includes Neolithic henges and stone circles, Bronze Age barrows, Iron Age hill forts, ancient churches, pretty villages, English pubs and more

32 Security and welfare Every person on camp will have a numbered wrist band (different colour for 18+) No wrist band no food! Wrist band number will link to personal records including medical Medical centre with Doctor, Nurse and 1 st Aiders Off site trips / hikes record of who is on which bus / trip / hike from wristband numbers All gates can be locked at night - night security by volunteer leaders from camp Only 18+ allowed in bar / drink alcohol
