2 A Family Reunion Welcome to the Big Valley Jamboree a world class festival built on tradition and safety, with world class fans like you. We have reached this level of success because of each and every person that has attended the festival in these past years. This weekend please continue to show our friends, family, and everyone around you the respect and courtesy they all deserve. This August Long Weekend, you are now, and always will be, right where you need to be. BVJ is committed to providing respectful, secure, and supportive work environments to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals. BVJ does not tolerate nor condone any violent actions or behaviours toward any BVJ staff member. BVJ will take the appropriate action in the appropriate manner required to address any report of verbal abuse, violence, or breach of the BVJ Code of Conduct. Remember Anyone engaging in violent, obscene or unruly behaviour will be immediately removed from festival site, parking lots, or campgrounds and may also be subject to arrest. BVJ prohibits the display of gang insignia throughout the campground & festival site. Ensure your wristband is on securely; lost or stolen wristbands/ neck passes will not be replaced. Please take care of your personal items, lock or place valuables out of sight. Public Safety Information BVJ, in co-operation with local Emergency Services, will provide the most up to date weather and safety information available for Camrose County. In the event of severe weather or any other major emergency, the PPLP Incident Team will issue an Emergency Notice. Efforts will be made to alert the public by the Public Address System. The Public Address System consists of stage announcements, social media, and other available resources. Please see site signage & program for LICENSED AREAS At Big Valley Jamboree we feature a wide array of Licensed Areas that are ready to quench the thirsty concert goer. Stop by the Jim Beam Backroom Bar at the back of the Main Stage Concert Bowl, or come sing some karaoke at the Molson Canadian Cider House on Main Street. The Coors Banquet Saloon is the place to be for the Big Valley Jamboree Kickoff Party night and the place to end every other night. So pack a sweater, polish up your boots and get ready to dance the night away as we feature some of your favourite songs and the best live entertainment around. Entrance by wearing a valid and appropriate wristband, or on, your Kickoff Party ticket Subject to search by Event Security Bring your ID, these are + venues Anyone appearing yrs and younger will be asked to provide photo ID Smoking in designated areas only Dress for evening weather Having fun Minors Outside beverages Weapons Standing on picnic tables Video or audio recording devices Chairs Fireworks Unruly or crude behaviour Frisbees Pets (assistance dogs only) Umbrellas Alcohol is not permitted to be taken out of any licensed areas, nor is any other liquid in any other container. Possession or consumption of alcohol in any non-licensed areas will result in eviction and removal of wristband. Anyone not adhering to the BVJ Code of Conduct will be subject to eviction without refund and subject to fines according to provincial and local authorities.

3 CAMPGROUND The campground gates will open for you to set up your site beginning Wednesday, August nd. The gates will open at :am and close at :pm Wednesday Saturday, and open at :am and close at :pm on ; there will be no access any earlier. All vehicles not processed by :pm will be required to park in the processing lanes until the gates reopen in the morning. All vehicles will be subject to search upon arrival. Campsites are sold and assigned on a first come first serve basis and are based on double occupancy. Thus for every valid weekend admissions purchased, you may purchase one campsite. Camping stickers must be placed on the vehicle pulling the camping unit. Should you have a second vehicle, please make sure you have the secondary camping pass purchased. There are no serviced sites Please keep the campground roads and driving lanes clear for emergency vehicle access at all times. Some campsites may be unlevel, please bring and take home your own blocking for safe leveling. One sleeping unit and a second vehicle per site with proper vehicle stickers displayed Maximum people per campsite Wearing a properly attached valid Weekend Admission Wristband or equivalent BBQ s, camp stoves & CSA approved propane fire pits up to in diameter Clean campsite upon departure Respect your neighbours & festival goers Vacate site by :am August th to accommodate the clean-up crew Store valuables in a safe place Obey posted speed limit BVJ takes pride in our image! Please keep your campsites clean and maintained throughout the entire weekend. Failure to do so will result in a $ clean up fee and/or eviction from festival sites and venues. For your convenience showers, portable toilets, and non-potable water stations are available throughout the campground. Generators will be allowed to operate between :am and. If your generator makes excessive noise or creates fumes you will be asked not to use it. We understand some people have health related issues that require generators to run all night. In fairness to other campers, these generators must be of the whisper quiet make and not disturb other campers. Any noncompliance will result in eviction without refund. BVJ is not an ideal weekend for your pets and they may be happier at home. If you do choose to bring your pet they must remain at your campsite, leashed and attended to at all times. A complimentary shuttle service is available to get you around the campground area. Please see the map for details. Noise Curfew In order to make everyone s stay as enjoyable as possible please respect your neighbours and abide by our noise curfew. 4 MAIN STAGE CONCERT BOWL General admission ticket holders are not provided chairs, so feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Line-ups are formed daily with the Concert Bowl gates opening at :am. A maximum of chairs per person can be carried in and set up in our designated area. Please remember to remove your lawn chairs nightly. Lawn chairs are not permitted in Super GA Pit and Super GA Pit Sections. Reserved/VIP seat holders please wear your wristband and refer to your neck pass for your seat row and section. An Access Seating Area is provided in the Main Stage Concert Bowl. Each person is allowed one guest. See map for location. Artist line-up subject to change without notice. Mandatory Bag Check For the comfort and safety of all attending, a mandatory full bag check will be in effect for those entering the Big Valley Jamboree Main Stage Concert Bowl, and the Coors Banquet Saloon Stage. Smoking BVJ is a smoke free environment. Smoking is allowed in the designated smoking areas (see map) located on Main Street, Main Stage Concert Bowl, Coors Banquet Saloon, Jim Beam Backroom Bar, The Molson Canadian Cider House and the Bulls For Breakfast area. Point and shoot cameras are permitted inside the Main Stage Concert Bowl and Coors Banquet Saloon as long as their use does not interfere with the event or other guests enjoyment of the event. Video cameras, tripods, monopods and cameras with a lens longer than fully extended (detachable or non-detachable) are prohibited inside the Main Stage Concert Bowl and Coors Banquet Saloon. Cameras not adhering to this policy may be denied entry at the gates. As we continue to make Big Valley Jamboree Canada s Premier Country Music Festival we want to encourage you to have fun out there.the artists love to see people up dancing and singing along. The more feedback and love you give to them the more they will give you. You have the opportunity to make each and every artist feel welcome and show them what Big Valley Jamboree is all about. Of course we always want to continue to show our friends, family and everyone around you the respect and courtesy they deserve; but we believe that this can still be accomplished with some light hearted fun and enjoyment. So get up, dance, and sing loud, and be BVJ proud! Code of Conduct All fans, staff contractors, sponsors, suppliers, entertainers and event personnel, along with any items they are carrying or conveying, are subject to search by event personnel prior to being admitted on the BVJ Site. Should the BVJ Security Team respond to any occurrence but not limited to the following situations, any and all offending parties may be deemed to be in breach of the Big Valley Jamboree Code of Conduct. Behaviour that is deemed unruly, disruptive, dangerous or illegal in nature Using foul or abusive language or obscene gestures Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or drug impairment that results in behaviour deemed irresponsible Possessing alcohol in non-licensed areas Smoking or vaping in non-designated areas Any disruption of the event including but not limited to throwing objects or accessing restricted areas without proper accreditation Verbal or physical harassment of any patron, artist, or event personnel Occupying a ticketed seat or campsite without physically possessing proof of purchase Failing to comply with any Rules & Regulations stipulated by Big Valley Jamboree, or instructions given by event personnel. Failure to comply with the Big Valley Jamboree Code of Conduct may result in event evictions and/or possible criminal charges. Furthermore, Panhandle Productions and Big Valley Jamboree reserve the right to enforce denial of event ticket sales, or services to any person and/or organization any time a breach of the Big Valley Jamboree Code of Conduct is reported and/or suspected. Message Board Look for the message boards by the Will Call booth and on the west end of main street. Concessions A wide variety of food and beverages are available. Our concessions (cash only) are located at Main Street, Coors Banquet Saloon, Jim Beam Backroom Bar and Main Stage Concert Bowl. Non-approved vendors are prohibited. Medical Assistance Medical Assistance is located north of the Police Station as well as in the Main Stage Concert Bowl during show time. Assistance is available hrs/day commencing Wednesday. The South Field Medical Centre is open :am :pm. Dial for emergencies. Access Transportation Services The Access Transportation booth is located at CP and is open Noon :pm and Friday to :am :pm. Additional pick up/drop off points are located in front of the CRE Building and Access Seating Area of the Main Stage Concert Bowl. BVJ Guest Services & Information Booth Located on Main Street, open daily commencing Wednesday :am :pm, to :am :pm. Information also available at the Ticket Pick-up Booth/Will Call (See # on Site Map). Assistance is also available in locating lost children. Autograph Tent Located in the Main Street, announcements will be made from the main stage as to which artists will be signing autographs. BVJ & Artist Merchandise You will find our BVJ Merchandise Store and Artist Merchandise booths on Main Street. City of Camrose Shuttle The City Shuttle pick up/ drop off is located on the paved lot in front of the CRE.
