2 CIRCUS TENT RENTAL PRICE SHEET 2015 This price sheet is for various rental periods for our beautiful two poster circus tent. ITEM NOTES PRICE 1-3 Show Day Run Any run from 1 to 3 days. $12, Additional Show Day $2, Additional Storage Day Tent on site but not used between $ shows 7 Day Run $17, Day Run $20, All prices listed here include our team leading the set up and strike of the tent. -Security will be required for the tent for the duration that it is set up on your site. -Once setup the tent will be handed over to the purchaser. At that time and for the duration of the event the tent and all events taking place inside will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Appropriate security, insurance and liability coverage for patrons and for the tent itself will be the responsibility of the purchaser for this period. -Rental prices include ONE tent master and ONE assistant tent master for setup and strike. 4 local laborers will be required in addition to our two traveling tent masters and the cost of this is the responsibility of the purchaser. -Rental prices do not include travel and accommodations for the two tent masters. This tent is based in Hamilton ON, Canada and all setups outside of a 2-hour radius from home will require travel and accommodation fees over and above the prices listed above. -This tent takes ONE full day to set up and ONE full day to strike. There is no charge for these days. -If the ground is hard a Bobcat with hydraulic jackhammer attachment will be required for driving the tent poles. If the tent is on pavement permission will be required to place tent poles. -The tent cannot be packed wet so there is always the possibility of a delay striking the tent if it is rainy or wet so please schedule accordingly. If you don t find the answer you are looking for here please call our office at (905) How much does the tent cost to rent? The price varies depending on the length of the rental. Call today for specific pricing for your event. How many people can fit in the tent? Our tent can seat up to 300 people on folding chairs, 450 on bleachers, or 170 in a formal seated dinner table setting. All these listed capacities include space for a stage or dance floor area. Is there a stage or dance floor in the tent? Yes, we have stage and dance floor options available. What is on the floor? On a standard setup the floor is the grass or ground below but we have floor-covering options available. What makes this tent different from a standard event tent? This is a real, authentic circus tent made by the famous French tent maker VSO (Voilerie du Sud Ouest). This company makes circus tents for all the big touring circuses including Cirque du Soleil. This is not a basic white event tent. It is gorgeous bright yellow and red two-masted circus tent where it is possible to rig flying acts. It is a much more theatrical setting. How big is the tent? What is the footprint? This is a smaller two poster more intimate circus tent better suited to private and corporate events. The tent is 55 X 65. It requires a site 85 X 88.5 due to the guy lines and rigging. Do I need a permit to have this tent at my site? Is this part of the rental? Depending on your site and jurisdiction you may need a building permit in order to have this or any other large tent set up. On private property you probably won't, but if this is an urban, public space then you will. We have a package available with all the technical details to help facilitate this process. These permits are generally easy to obtain given some time. The costs vary from place to place but they are usually a hundred dollars or so. This price is not included in the tent rental. My site is paved or concrete can I still have the tent? This tent can be set up on asphalt IF permission is granted by the property owner to drive our tent poles through the pavement. Concrete is much more difficult to set up on and not recommended. The best site for our tent is a flat field of grass. How long does the tent take to set up and take down? 4 What does the tent come with? Our tent comes in its own 35 long trailer that can be used as back stage or dressing rooms once we are set up. We have both technical (sound lights etc.) as well as performance options available in addition to the basic tent package. Do you have different tents or just the one? At the moment we have just one tent, but we may obtain more as time goes by. What if it rains will my guests stay dry? The tent is completely waterproof, even in the biggest rainstorm. What if it is cold/hot out how can I keep my guests comfortable? We have heating and air conditioning options available, but generally the tent is used in seasons where the weather makes this unnecessary. What is your tent like inside? This tent creates a wonderfully theatrical atmosphere. The inside tent walls are dark blue so that the focus is on the event or show taking place. We have lighting, staging, scenic and theatrical packages (listed on our website) available to dress the space up how you like. Basic lighting is required for all rentals or else it would be too dark inside. Can I see the tent before I rent it? It may be possible to arrange a viewing if the tent is set up on a rental close to the time of your event and we can get permission. However, most of the time the tent lives in its own special trailer waiting for people like you to rent it, and does not look that exciting. What is involved in getting the tent for my event? First we do a site survey, either in person or via phone and photos, to determine if your site is suitable. When you book the tent for your event we require a 50% deposit. We deliver the tent via truck in its own special trailer. Our experienced team will set up the tent and then tear down when your event is over. Do I need insurance?
