1 MANNERS rifle stocks at DOLPHIN GUN COMPANY. Tactical Manners Stocks A lot of work went into developing our tactical series stocks. They were designed with an ultimate goal in mind, ruggedness, stability, accuracy, and ergonomics. These stocks are engineered for the correct stiffness to weight ratio using state of the art processes during manufacturing. The outer shells are made with 35% aircraft grade carbon fibre and 65% fibre glass in multiple layers. They are hand laid with high temperature epoxy resins, placed under a vacuum, and heat cured to obtain the perfect resin to fabric weight ratio. Standard configuration stocks come full in-letted with a pillar set that is ready to install at time of bedding. All of our tactical stocks come standard with a premium painted finish in a solid colour of your choice. We also offer most models in a moulded in Field-grade gel coat finish. 1

2 The latest Elite Tactical shell option. This is basically the same technology and 100% carbon fibre shell that comes standard in our Elite Hunter series of stocks, but with a bit of old school twist to it. This option is available in all our tactical stocks including the folders. Back when we started Manners Stocks, some of the first stocks that we produced were clear carbon fibre. The Elite Tactical stocks above will also come standard with our tough armour grip and textured clear finish over the top. 100% CARBON FIBRE, SUPER LIGHT & STRONG Manners Composite Stocks is proud to introduce a new lay-up option for our tactical line of stocks. It will be called the Elite Tactical shell option. This is basically the same technology and 100% carbon fibre shell that comes standard in our Elite Hunter series of stocks, but with a bit of old school twist to it. This 2

3 option is available in all our tactical stocks including the folders. Back when we started Manners Stocks, some of the first stocks that we produced were clear carbon fibre. Today the Elite Tactical Option incorporates some of the clear finish into the camo pattern. We offer this option in 4 different finishes, Elite GAP Camo, Elite Midnight Camo, Elite Black Forest Camo and Elite Clear. All of these finishes will be considered a field grade finish. What this means is that small imperfections may be visible in the finish such as mold lines, small sanding marks and fabric imperfections in the carbon fibre fabric. The Elite Tactical stocks will also come standard with our tough armour grip and textured clear finish over the top. High Gloss finish is an extra option on Elite Tactical Clear. MCS-T6A AND T6 The MCS-T6 comes in two versions. The T6A which has an adjustable cheek and the T6 with is non-adjustable. The T6A comes standard with an adjustable cheek and KMW hardware. Both come standard with a fixed 1 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. They can also be ordered with the optional Adj butt spacer system and a 1/2 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. The standard weight for the T6A is 4.0 lbs. And the T6 is 2.9 lbs. The forend is about 1.97 wide and will take barrels up to inches in diameter. Fully ambidextrous grip and cheek The forend is on the more narrow side with a flat bottom and a width of While the sides of the forend are parallel to the bore, the bottom has a taper, which allows for small elevation adjustments by pushing or pulling the rifle when using a front bag or other surface. The very top 3.5 from the tip of the forend has a slight flare to accommodate the installation of an imbedded front rail for night vision. The vertical pistol grip is designed with a small palm swell on each side for the average size shooter, but is 3

4 also lengthened about a ¼ to help accommodate larger hands that have trouble keeping all their fingers on the grip without their little finger falling off the bottom of the grip like on other tactical style stocks. It will take up to a 1.30 straight barrel channel It will come standard with a full inlet, your choice of a solid painted finish or one of our moulded in camo finishes, a fixed 1 decel pad and a set of 9/16 pillars. The T6/A can be in-letted for both right and left hand actions. It will also accommodate all Remington style, Winchester style and savage actions. Call for more details. MCS-T5A AND T5 The MCS-T5A stock is offered in two version a T5 non adjustable cheek and the T5A with a adjustable cheek and KMW hardware. The T5A version is designed as a right hand grip, with a small thumb rest on the left side of the stock. The T5 non adjustable cheek version has a ambidextrous grip. Although the T5A version is a right hand stock, we designed it so that if you have to shoot with your weak hand it stills feels good. A lot of time went into the design of the grip on this stock, it moves your hand down and forward so your trigger finger is in a more natural position and you are not having to reach for the trigger. The area behind the trigger looks odd but it is designed to make your hand return to the same spot each time you grip the stock. It works very well with all sizes of hands, small or large. Both versions come standard with a fixed 1 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. It can also be ordered with the optional butt spacer system and a 1/2 Decelerator pad.the standard weight for the T5A is 4.0 lbs. And the T5 is 2.7 lbs. The forend is 2.40 wide at the tip and will take barrels up to inches in diameter. The very top end of the forend is designed with a slight flare to accept the Badger Ordance EFR night vision mount. It also has a butt hook that can be used to ride the bags or control your rifle with your non-trigger hand. The MCS-T5 was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-T4A AND T4 4

5 The MCS-T4 comes in two versions the T4A which has an adjustable cheek and the T4 with is non adjustable. The T4A comes standard with an adjustable cheek and KMW hardware. Both come standard with a fixed 1 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. They can also be ordered with the optional butt spacer system and a 1/2 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. The standard weight for the T4A is 4.2 lbs. And the T4 is 2.8 lbs. The forend is about 2.50 wide and will take barrels up to inches in diameter. The sides and bottom of the forend and the bottom of the butt behind the hook are parallel with the bore. This allows the stock to ride very straight and true if you want to use bags. The forend of the stock is only textured on the back half and we lengthened the pistol grip about 1/4 longer compared to the T2 stock. The MCS-T4 was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-T3 This is one of our new designs. It is a good all around hunting / tactical stock. The standard weight is 2.6 lbs but can be had as light as 2.2 Lbs. The forend is 2.40 wide at the tip and will take straight taper barrels up to inches in diameter.. The forend and palm swell feature a light molded in texture. The MCS-T3 was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. 5

6 MCS-T2A AND T2 This stock comes in two versions the T2A which has an adjustable cheek and the T2 that is non adjustable. The T2A comes standard with an adjustable cheek and KMW hardware. Both come standard with a fixed 1 Pachmyer Decel pad. It can also be ordered with the optional butt spacer system and a Pachmyer Decelerator pad. The standard weight for the T2A is 3.9 lbs. And the T2 is 2.6 lbs. The forend is 2.40 wide at the tip and will take barrels up to inches in diameter. A lot of work went into the design of the back of the stock. It has a flat that is about 3/4 wide on the bottom with true running sides. This allows the stock to ride very straight and true when using a rear bag. The MCS-T2 was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-T1 The standard weight is 3.4 lbs. But can be had as light as 2.4 lbs., and as heavy as 5 lbs. The forend is 1.78 wide at the tip and will take barrels up to inches in diameter. It comes standard with a high cheek piece and an adjustable spacer type butt system, with a 1/2 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. It also has a butt hook that can be used to ride the bags or control the rifle with your non-trigger hand. Rem 700 s/a is the tandard inlet but others can be special ordered. The MCS-T1 was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. 6

7 MCS-TA and T This is our more traditional hunting / tactical stock. It comes in two different versions the MCS-T fixed cheek version and the MCS-TA adjustable cheek version with KMW hardware. The standard weight of the fixed cheek version is 2.5 lbs but with the 90% carbon fiber option it usually ends up around 2.1 lbs. The standard weight of the adjustable cheek version is 3.4 lbs. The forend is 1.75 wide at the tip and rounded to a beaver tail that is flat. The forend is also wide enough to accept a #8 barrel which is about diameter at the tip of the stock. The MCS-T and TA comes standard with a 1 Pachmyer Decelerator pad installed at a length of pull at This stock has a high cheek piece and a nice palm swell. MCS-GAT This is a thumbhole tactical stock. This stock was a joint effort by MCS and GA Precision, to design a small light weight thumbhole tactical stock. The standard weight is 3.5 lbs but can be had as light as 2.8 lbs when ordered with the 90% shell option. The MCS-GAT is a ambidextrous stock with a small swell on both sides of the grip. The forend is 1.75 wide at the tip and rounded to a beaver tail that is flat. The forend is also wide enough to accept a #7 barrel which is about diameter at the tip of the stock. It comes standard with a high cheek piece and an adjustable spacer type butt system, with a 1/2 Pachmyer Decelerator pad. It also has a butt hook that can be used to ride the bags or control your rifle with your non-trigger hand. The MCS-GAT was designed around a Rem 700 style action, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-T50 This is our 50bmg thumbhole tactical stock. This stock was designed for the 1000 yard FCSA prone class. The T50 comes standard with a fixed 1 Pachmyer Decelerator pad and a adjustable cheek with KMW hardware. It can also be ordered 7

8 with the optional butt spacer system or a 4 way butt pad system. The cheek piece is designed for quick removal for cleaning, but at the same time giving the bolt plenty of clearance to operate. The forend is longer than most 50bmg stocks for more stability, but not too long to affect the amount of swing on a close moving target. The standard weight is 5.5 lbs but can be had as light as 4.5 lbs. The MCS-T50 comes in right hand only, with a small swell on the left side for your thumb. The forend is 2.9 wide at the tip and has straight vertical sides and a flat bottom. It also has a butt hook that can be used to ride the bags or controlling your rifle with your non-trigger hand. Manners Competition Stocks MCS-F CLASS STOCK There has been a lot of time and effort by MCS and many world class shooters to develop our F- class stock. The length of the stocks are very long. From the back of the action to the tip of the stock is about 27 inches long which is about 7 1/2 longer than the MCS-T4 stock. This is done for a better balance when using a heavy barrel and also allows you to move the bags as far apart as possible to give better stability. This stock is engineered for the correct stiffness to weight ratio using state of the art processes during manufacturing. The outer shells are made with multiple layers of 100% aircraft grade carbon fiber. They are hand laid with high temperature epoxy resins, placed under a vacuum, and heat cured to obtain the perfect resin to fabric weight ratio. Once assembled it becomes a truly seamless shell. The barrel channel and action areas, are molded into the shell of the stock. All of the competition stocks come standard in a black gel coat finish. MCS-L50 AND H-50 50CAL BENCH STOCKS There has been a lot of time and effort by MCS and many world class shooters to develop our light and heavy class bench stocks. They are designed to sit very low in the bags and track straight and true. The length of the stocks are very long. From the back of the action to the tip of the stock is about 32 inches. This is done for a 8

9 better balance when using a heavy barrel and to get the bag contact points as far apart as possible. Both of these stocks currently hold MULTIPLE FCSA WORLD RE- CORDS. These stocks are engineered for the correct stiffness to weight ratio using state of the art processes during manufacturing. The outer shells are made with multiple layers of 100% aircraft grade carbon fiber. They are hand laid with high temperature epoxy resins, placed under a vacuum, and heat cured to obtain the perfect resin to fabric weight ratio. Once assembled it becomes a truly seamless shell. The barrel, action, and trigger areas are molded into the shell of the stock. The only cuts in the shell are the bolt handle and pillar holes done during the bedding process. MCS-L50 This is our light class stock. The average weight is 4 1/3 lbs. The forend is 3.49 wide. The length of pull can be up to 16. We currently have mold inserts for most types and sizes of actions. If you have a custom action, we can make just about any configuration you need, for an additional labor charge. MCS-H50 This is our heavy stock. The average weight is 4 3/4 lbs. The forend is 5.24 wide. The length of pull can be up to 16. We currently have mold inserts for most types and sizes of actions. If you have a custom action, we can make just about any configuration you need, for an additional charge. MCS-AGW This is Randy Dierks NBRSA/ IBS 1000 Yard Benchrest stock that MCS molds up. As of a few years ago Randys stock held quite a few world records in NBRSA. This stock weighs in at only 1.6 lbs. The length of pull can be up to 16 and also comes in a black gel coat finish. 9

10 Manners Hunting Stocks ELITE HUNTER SERIES Manners Composite Stocks is proud to introduce our new line of hunting stocks called the Elite Hunter Series. A lot of work went into the development for this line of stocks. The ultimate goal was to be as light as possible but still maintain the ruggedness, stability, accuracy and ergonomics of the rest of our lineup. To accomplish this we went back to the drawing board. The composite industry in the past has always been driven by aerospace technology, but for the past few years there has been a lot of advancements in the wind energy market. They are now makingoff shore carbon fiber wind turbine blades that are over a 110 meters in length. What we did was take some of these advancements in materials and ideas and developed a new process for this series from lay-up to fill. To start, all the stocks in this series had to have a 100% carbon fiber shell. The second part was to develop a super light fill that would still hold up to any magnum caliber that you could throw at it. To accomplish this we still had to use our full size 9/16 pillars. Lightweight fill in non-critical areas and heavy fill where needed. The heavy fill is what adds weight quickly, so we developed a process that can precisely control the amount of this material and only place it where it is most needed, example recoil lug/front pillar area and web area in-front of the trigger. We started this series with a total of 5 new stocks; 4 remington/winchester based and 1 Tikka lite based stock. All will come standard with a full inlet, ½ or 1 decel pad and a solid painted finish of your choice, the exception to this will be the tikka t3 based stock, instead of pillars it will come with a hardened stainless steel recoil lug made by KRG. Based on the design and inlet, this line up weighs in anywhere from 22.5 to approximately 26.5 ounces. There will be more to come over then next few months, which will include a youth stock, a safari stock and other versions for various action inlets. MCS-EH1 This stock was designed for the long-range hunter. Depending on the inlet, the standard weight with a ½ decel pad is 26 to 28 ounces. The forend is 1.75 wide at the tip and rounded to a beaver tail that is 10

11 flat and wide enough to accept a #8 barrel which is about diameter at the tip of the stock. The grip on the stock is more of a vertical tactical style, that is longer than standard with a small palm swell and overall smaller grip than say our MCS-T4 stock. The bottom of the butt has a flat that is about ¾ wide that is true running with the sides of the stock. This allows it to ride very straight and true when using a rear bag. It is designed for Rem 700 style actions, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. * On a side note, this stock will cross over to our tactical side, and be offered with a standard shell/weight and be available in molded in colors/camo. MCS-EH2 This stock was designed to be more of a mountain rifle stock for guys wanting to use larger objective optics. Depending on the inlet, the standard weight with a ½ decel pad is 25 to 26 ounces. The forend is 1.5 wide at the tip and rounded on the bottom which is wide enough to accept a #4 to #5 barrel. This stock has a high cheek piece to get your head up a nice palm swell. It is designed for Rem 700 style actions, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-EH3 This is more of a traditional mountain rifle stock like our MCS-SL. Some of the main differences between the two are, we added a little higher cheek for use with a larger objective scopes, it has a lengthened grip to give you more control and the feel of a full size stock and it is ambidextrous for you lefties. Depending on the inlet, the standard weight with a ½ pad is 24 to 25 ounces. The forend is 1.5 wide at the tip and rounded on the bottom which is wide enough to accept a #4 to #5 barrel. It is designed for Rem 700 style actions, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. MCS-EH4 This stock was designed for the guys that have been asking for a short compact stock. This stock is based off our popular MCS-T. Some of the main differences between the two are, the forend on this stock is 3.25 shorter, the width is only 1.6 at the 11

12 tip which is wide enough to accept up to a 5 ½ contour which is basically a heavy remington profile barrel. This stock has a high cheek to get your head up and a nice palm swell. Depending on the inlet, the standard weight with a ½ pad is 24 to 26 ounces. It is designed for Rem 700 styles actions, but can be had for Winchester, Savage, Howa and other actions. * On a side note, this stock will cross over to our tactical side, and be offered with a standard shell/weight and be available in molded in colors/camo. MCS-EHT TIKKA This stock is more of a mountain rifle stock designed just for the Tikka T3 Lite. Depending on the inlet, the standard weight with a ½ decel pad is 22 to 25 ounces. The forend is 1.3 wide at the forend and rounded on the bottom. It is wide enough for the factory heavy barrel which is about a #3 contour. This stock will also come with a hardened stainless steel recoil lug made by KRG. MORE HUNTING STOCKS Just like our World record holding bench rest stocks, these stocks are engineered for the correct stiffness to weight ratio using state of the art processes during manufacturing. They are hand laid with high temperature epoxy resins, placed under a vacuum, and heat cured to obtain the perfect resin to fabric weight ratio. The hunter stocks come standard with a Pachmayr Decel pad, a full inlet, a set of Badger Ordance 9/16 pillars and in a painted solid color of you choice. Some models can also be had in a molded in Field-grade gel coat finish. MCS-SL (super light) The grip of the MCS-SL has a nice palm swell and a dished out area for the back of your hand which gives you a very comfortable grip while still maintaining the more traditional hunter stock look. The comb is set at a height 12

13 to give you optimum height for a hunting style scope. The outer shells are made with multiple layers of 100% carbon fiber, then reinforced in the critical areas with a layer of fiberglass. The average weight is 27 to 28 ounces depending on the configuration and butt pad selection. Even though these stocks are very light they are constructed to be just as strong and stiff as our standard stocks. They will not let you down in the field when you are on that once in a life time hunt. This stock only comes in a right hand only version. Please call for more details. Colours... Premium Painted Finishes Solid This is considered our top of the line premium finish. Before painting, all our stocks are hand-sanded, primed, and painted to eliminate all surface imperfections. The paint used is an industrial grade, very durable, two part polyurethane enamel paint. All colors are a dead flat finish to minimize light reflection and have a non-slip pebble finish. This paint is very durable and well suitable for all conditions. It is impervious to most gun cleaning solvents, but harsh solvents should be wiped off. It will scratch like all paints if dragged over rocks, limbs, and other sharp surfaces. Below is the basic solid colors that we offer, but we can match just about anything you want. Molded In Field-Grade Finishes Solid / Camo Patterns Manners Composite Stocks is proud to offer Molded in finishes on select models ( note list below ). We have developed a procedure that works very well with our state of the art stock making process. It allows us to mold the finish into the stock, while maintaining a very thin gelcoat which keeps the fabric close in the corners. By doing this we maintain a super strong shell with less of a chance of chipping in the corners. Our Molded in finish is considered a Field-Grade finish. What this means is that small imperfections may be visible in the finish such as mold lines, sanding marks and fiberglass cloth. Although the final finish is not dead flat like our painted stocks, they come with a sanded matte finish to minimize reflections. The basic MCS-Camo consists of three colors, a base, which is usually 40%, and two minor colors that usually are 30% each of the total finish. We do our best to maintain the color balance of the Camo, but each one is done by hand and two stocks are never the same. If for any reason the balance is not what you expected, we will be more than happy to refinish in a solid painted finish. There is 7 different molded in versions of our MCS-Camo and 2 solid colors ( OD Green and Light Coyote ). All of our Molded-In Stocks now come standard with Armour-Grip Finish. Armour-Grip is a textured flat clear finish that is applied to the stock. This Provides a grip texture, which comes in handy during wet conditions. Price list on next page... 14
