11 Finishing Touches Hard Standing Kits The hard standing kit comprises of aluminium plates, telescopic aluminium ground rails and sand bags. The plates are easily attached to the feet of the marquee and are wide enough to hold the sand bags, when filled each sand bag weighs approximately 14kg and any extra weights if required. The kit comprises of 2 or more lighting units that attach to the crossbars of the frame. The lighting kit can be run from the mains or a generator and is manufactured for outside use. 22 Marquee Software What material is used for a Top Marquee? Top Marquees software is manufactured in 500 Denier Polyester. The material is water resistant with a rating of > 75cm hydrostatic head when tested. Flame retardant to BS The standard required by health and safety for use at events and it is UV stable. To ensure your marquee is as water proof as possible we use high quality, water resistant polyester thread designed to swell in wet conditions. All seams are double stitched and bound by our in-house machinists ensuring the highest levels of workmanship all round. 23 Marquee Frames What are Top Marquees frames manufactured from? Top Marquee frames are manufactured from high quality aluminium which is anodised for weather resistance and long life. All fasteners are bright zinc plated steel and incorporate nyloc nuts, this makes our marquees sturdy but lightweight for ease of transportation. Fully Engineered Sliding Collars - Extended length allows easier sliding of the marquee. Spring Loaded Canopy - This simple device keeps the canopy taut in most weather conditions, reducing the possibility of rainwater gathering on the roof. Crossbars - Ergonomically designed to provide maximum strength with minimum weight. 30mm x 15mm Legs - Square 40mm x 40mm legs are both strong and lightweight, easily extended using pull pins ensuring no more trapped fingers! Cast Aluminium Foot - This cleverly designed component is bolted into the bottom of the inner leg. It enables a peg to be hammered through it or plates to be bolted on when used on hard ground. 24 5 Year Warranty Unrivalled 5 Year Warranty All Top Marquees products are covered by a manufacturer s warranty against any defects in workmanship or materials, for a period of five years from the delivery date, subject to an annual inspection. What is Covered? Any defects caused by poor workmanship or faulty materials. Free annual inspection at our premises. The cost of delivery from the designated locations for unit evaluation within the warranty period will be borne by Top Marquees, should a unit prove defective under the warranty terms. Where this is not the case, the cost of delivery will be your responsibility. What is not Covered? Damage caused by use of marquee in extreme weather conditions. Damage caused by failure to store the marquee correctly. Damage caused by failure to follow the correct marquee erection procedure. Damage caused by use of the marquee as a permanent structure. We will endeavour in the first 3-year period to rectify any minor defects from normal use free of charge (at our discretion, and subject to annual inspection). A nominal fee may apply. A loan facility is available free of charge whilst your marquee is undergoing repair or you are waiting for a new Top Marquee (returnable deposit may be required) If you require a new marquee, we will endeavour to replace your existing marquee within working days. Marquees should not be returned in a soiled or damp condition. This warranty is not transferable. Call premises Annual Check up! We run the free annual check up here at our premises between the months of October and February. Rather than waiting until you are ready to use your marquee again next year, get it checked out before you put it away for the winter. You can then rest assured that everything will be in perfect working order for your first event. On top of this you can make the most of our Out of Season Offers on replacement parts and software and not have to worry about long lead times or delays. Our on site engineer will clean down your top quality workmanship Substantial stock frame and carry out any minor adjustments or manufacturing issues as covered by your warranty. He will assess the frame for any additional repairs and we will quote accordingly. We will not carry out any further repairs without your approval. If either your marquee canopy or sides need repair you can also send these in with the frame. Please call us on to let us know when you will be returning your marquee. If sending your marquee to us proves difficult we may be able to either send out our engineer to you or arrange for our courier to collect from your premises.
