2 ALL ABOUT CAMP 45! CAMP LOCATION AND FACILITIES Carolina Creek Christian Camp - Lakeview is located in Huntsville, Texas about an hour north of Woodlands Church - The Woodlands Campus. The campgrounds include an auditorium, cafeteria, lake, swimming pool, a variety of activities and separate boys and girls cabins with indoor showers and toilets. Your child will be in a cabin with their team (between kids) and Woodlands Church approved adult leaders in bunk style dorms. 4 ALL ABOUT VBS! WOODLANDS JULY 29 - AUGUST 1 // $50 ATASCOCITA JULY // $50 WHAT IS VBS? VBS is a fun and interactive day camp for your Kindergarten through 5th graders! Kids will start the day off with a bang in our main auditorium with worship, team games, skits, and a creative Biblical message. Throughout the day, kids will go through rotations and participate in fun activities, while continuing to reinforce the main point of the day. Kids are separated by age groups and will have 2 team leaders. 5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can I volunteer at camp? Yes! We would love for you to be a volunteer at camp! Every adult must fill out a Camp volunteer application and pass a background check. However, we are limited on the amount of adult volunteers we can take to each camp due to the size of the camp. To start the process of being a volunteer, please kids@wc.org. Will my child be safe? Yes! Safety and security is our top priority in WC Kids, therefore we go above and beyond to make sure your child is in the safest environment. Every leader has been background checked and attended our mandatory training sessions on our safety rules and regulations to ensure your child s safety. We will also have a camp nurse at every camp. Can my child be with their friends at camp? Absolutely! We want your child to have the best camp experience possible. When you register for camp, there is a place to request friends to be in their group. Can I contact my child at camp? Our goal at camp is to help kids experience Christ in a distraction free environment. Therefore, we don t allow phones at camp in order to help create that environment. We will give every parent at registration a staff phone number in case there is an emergency and you need to contact your child. Will I receive updates about camp? Yes! This year we will have a team of people posting pictures, videos, and camp updates on our social media sites. Also, we will be recording every service so you can see exactly what we are teaching about that week. For safety reasons we will only the link and password to the parents of kids attending camp.
