Type of Work: The volunteers will assist in the offering of computer lessons to youths, women and orphans. Carry out village technology forums for community empowerment. Carry out social technology learning skills. The volunteers will participate as a team in the whole duration of the camp. Volunteers can share and exchange different cultural forms during the workcamp. The orientation for the workcamp is scheduled at KCEP offices for the day before the workcamp start.

Volunteers must bring their own tents, sleeping bags, mosquito nets or repellants, spot light, cap, sun cream, personal effects i.e. toiletries. Internet, supermarkets and banking are available in Luanda town, which is 20 minutes drive from KCEP offices. Requirements: Commitment of volunteers; Project or work camps are not just cheap holidays; hard work and full participation is required. Volunteers should be self-driven, adaptable, people oriented and tenacious. Also bring sun cream, mosquito repellent, boots/shoes, light working clothes during working hours, warm clothes at night, as it may turn out to be cold, flash light, personal effects (toiletries) and materials for the cultural presentations about your country, camera. Approximate Location: KCEP is located around 30 km west of Kisumu and 400 km west of Nairobi, capital city of the Republic of Kenya. Notes: As a matter of fact the orientations shall be held on one day before the workcamp begins.
