As wildfires typically provide minimal notice, then we offer our proven SPIEDR Deluge Systems, which are compact, self-contained and compatible with existing BC Wildfire Service and all local Government fire departments. SPIEDR Solutions are supported via my passionate career of twenty-three years hands-on operational experience, equipment development and providing FireSmart concepts and principles towards wildfire interface structure protection. Key goals focus on safety of personnel while ensuring quick & easy set up. This proven concept provides a threefold approach better supporting structure protection methodology: 1) Pre-wetting of fuels. 2) Airborne ember transplant settles upon wet roof top surfaces. 3) Increases humidity levels. 2 Concept and Scope: It is recognized that the Elaho Community (EC) is without established hydrants Existing water sources are identified via local creeks, river and ponds Provide suppression & protection ability within their 1-mile wide x 3-mile long area Three self-supporting integral components (A, B, C) interact to support various scenarios to provide short and long term water delivery solutions: PART A = 1 each Initial Attack Trailer IAT PART B = 2 each Sustained Attack Tenders - SAT PART C = 1 each Sustained Attack Kit SAK Part A: 1 each Initial Attack Trailer - IAT 500 gallon polypropylene fully baffled tank w/ integral 10 gallon foam cell PFP-20hpHND-MR pump, Honda GX630 engine 3 gallon fuel tank w/ holder Aluminum diamond plate pump platform Control panel: master switch, key start and a 2.5" diameter discharge pressure gauge hour meter and basic light choke and throttle Scotty Round The Pump proportioner Manifold outlet: 1-3/4" Garden Hose Discharge W/ Industrial Ball Valve GHT thread 1-1 1/2" Fire Grade Ball Valve Service Line W/ Cap & Chain NPSH thread 1-2 1/2" Fire Grade Ball Valve Service Line W/ Cap & Chain BAT thread Electric hose reel w/ 1 x 200 fabric booster hose NPSH 2 each chrome outriggers w/ 3 way rollers Bypass line 1 back to tank 2-1/2 suction inlet to fill tank BAT thread 12 volt deep cycle battery with box, trickle charger LED work light Benefits and Features: Self-contained system w/ ability to tow to event / establish immediate flow One pump operator controls entire system Large fill tank for overboard fill or via suction inlet to pump from water tank. So when your tank is empty you can right away prime out of the external source. Pump will prime via gravity from tank 2
