1 Dower Lake Recreation Area Seasonal Campground 2019 Seasonal Lease Agreement Cover Page PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY. If you are planning on returning for the 2019 season, please sign and return this agreement with a $600 deposit check on or before November 1 st, The final balance is due May 1st, Please read and initial each item below to acknowledge you understand and will comply with all requirements: All items (grills, chairs, deck furniture, toys, etc.) need to be secured ON your deck or next to your camper when you leave, in order to allow park maintenance to be performed. Any extra hose or electric lines, including coaxial cable, need to be coiled up and fastened somehow to the camper and need to be OFF the ground so we can properly trim. All wood must be stored under your camper. Any plants, flowers, etc. around your camper and/or deck MUST have some type of border surrounding them. We need this border so that we can properly trim grass around the area. Everything inside of that border must be properly maintained by you. All household garbage must be put in one of the dumpsters. Dumpsters are for household garbage ONLY. No burning of garbage in fire pits. No permanent clotheslines. All vehicles MUST stay on campground/park paved or gravel trails and roads. I have reviewed and agree to the seasonal lease agreement. If there are any questions on this cover page, or on the seasonal lease agreement, please ask prior to executing the agreement.

2 Dower Lake Recreation Area Campground 2019 Seasonal Lease Agreement 1. Seasonal rate is $ The season is from 2 nd Friday in May to the first Monday in October 2. All units must be removed by the first Monday in October. 3. The yearly rate includes water and sewer. Electricity is metered, and will be billed by the City of Staples for the following: consumption (.15 per kwh), $7.50 monthly service charge, 5% monthly franchise fee and tax. Please note, there is a $100 deposit for all electrical hookups. 4. Site deposit of $600 is required on or before September 15th to confirm your site for the 2018 season. If a deposit is not received, we will assume you are not returning for the 2018 season. The balance of the site fee is due on or before May 1st. NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS. NO PARTIAL REFUNDS ON SEASONAL FEES AFTER MAY 1, Please notify management of early departures or if unit will be taken off site temporarily. 6. There are limits on the size of storage sheds and decks. Please check with management before installing a shed or deck. 7. Quiet Hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. In order to maintain a family atmosphere, loud music or noisy gatherings will not be tolerated at any time. If this becomes a problem, the lease will not be renewed. 8. Each campsite can have only 1 vehicle on site. Additional vehicles can be parked in designated areas, please check with the Camp Host or Park Ranger. 9. Pets must be leashed at all times and are not to be left unattended. It is required to clean up after your pet/s. NO PETS IN BEACH AREA. 10. Perishables should not be left in units, in case of power outage or if the outside plug gets pulled out accidentally. 11. All charcoal must be disposed of in fire pits. 12. The City of Staples is not responsible for accidents or injury to tenants or guests, loss of money, food, beverages or damage to property of any kind. Tenants will be held responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests. 13. The City of Staples is not responsible for any damage to tenant s property or equipment while located at the Dower Lake Recreation Area. 14. The City of Staples reserves the right to evict or not renew lease agreements at any time the management feels the tenant does not follow agreement or Campground rules and regulations. 15. All boats must be removed from the lake each day. 16. Golf carts, ATVs, and UTVs are allowed on park paved or gravel trails ONLY. Operators MUST be licensed drivers age 16 and older. Park Staff reserves the right to impound any golf cart, ATV, or UTV anytime operator is creating a disruption or safety hazard. 17. No lifeguard is provided. Posted beach rules must be followed. 18. Please check with management regarding the camper connection to the septic risers. The sewer connection must be tight and completely cover the septic riser opening. 19. Visitor Policy All visitors of campers must register with the Camp Host or Park Ranger upon arrival. In case of problems, we need to know who the visitors belong to, No Subletting To avoid any misunderstandings, please ask if you have any questions!
