At the Y, we focus on your child as a whole, including top-notch sports and swimming instruction, exploration of the community, and developing life-long friendships. We emphasize seamlessly weaving literacy, math, and science lessons into our curriculum, preventing summer learning loss and making sure our camp kids are ready to return to school in the fall. Above all, we focus on making summer fun! OVERNIGHT CAMPS Two weeks at an amazing overnight camp can change a child s perspective, if not their life. On the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Tuftonboro, NH, of Greater Boston s Pleasant Valley Camp for Girls and North Woods Camp for Boys bring children from all over the world together for fun and adventure. With activities like zip lining, kayaking, sports, games and nature hikes, kids jump out of their bunks ready for action every day. FAMILY CAMP Spend an unforgettable week with your loved ones at Sandy Island Family Camp in New Hampshire. Located on 66 acres on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, Sandy Island offers lakefront cabins, organized family activities, fishing, boating, swimming and so much more! 3 WALTHAM DAY CAMPS CAMP CABOTEERS AGES 3-4 PRE-CAMP - Session 8 half day 9:00am-12:30pm full day 9:00am-4:00pm Kids have non-stop fun with arts and crafts, nature, sing-alongs, trail walks, drama, sports and field games, swimming, snack and storytime. Full-Day participants receive daily swim lessons. Must be toilet trained. WEEKLY FEES MEMBER KIDS PASS MEMBER Half Day $175 $187 $210 Full Day $299 $320 $359 CAMP PIONEERS ENTERING K-1ST GRADE Arts and crafts, field games, archery and drama are just a few of the fun activities that keep kids busy and happy all day long. We round out the day with lots of pool time, including daily morning swim lessons and afternoon free swims. Plus, campers learn about the values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility. 4 CAMP CABOT ENTERING 2ND-6TH GRADES Kids build their own schedule with activities such as jewelry making, nature exploration, ultimate Frisbee, dance, volleyball, archery, ceramics, trust games, and drama performances. Daily morning swim lessons and afternoon free swims are always on the agenda. Plus, campers learn all about teamwork and building self-esteem. Our environment features lessons on the Y s values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Rookies participants can opt into morning swim lessons and all campers enjoy afternoon free swim. 5 VOYAGER CAMP LEADERS IN TRAINING ENTERING 5TH-8TH GRADES ENTERING 8TH-11TH GRADES This summer, weekly trips will include: Physical Challenge: Bring out your child s sense of adventure with fun physical challenges. Examples may include ballgames, hiking, and beach days. Young teens love this instructional program for future camp counselors. LITs actively assist our staff, interact with all campers and participate in leadership development training and servicelearning projects in the community. Educational: A chance for fun and exciting interactive summer learning. Past trips have included Museum of Science and USS constitution. FULL WEEKLY FEES MEMBER Full Day, 2 weeks $358 YOUTH/ KIDS PASS NONMEMBER $384 $430 Fun & Games: Unwind and explore destinations that may include arcades, go-cart racing, movies or theme parks. Beach Day: A chance to relax in the sun with new friends! Theme Day/Cookout: Show off camp spirit by participating in camp wide events! Please register in your local Branch. ENROLLMENT FORMS Once registration is complete, please submit your child s enrollment forms, most recent physical, immunization records, and any other necessary medical documentation. Enrollment and Medical forms are due no later than June 1st. All forms must be completed by that date to secure your child s space at camp. Visit ymcaboston.org/camps for forms or visit your local Welcome Center. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The serves people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes and strives to make camp fees affordable for families in need. Pick up a financial assistance application at your Welcome Center. The accepts vouchers. MEMBERSHIP Y membership is a great way to spend quality time with your kids. Visit our Welcome Center or call us to join. Bonus - you ll save on Camp Fees! This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health. The is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.
