1 GOOD SHEPHERD SUMMER DAY CAMP 2018 Dear Parents: Good Shepherd is preparing to offer its 23 rd Edition of summer camp. The 2018 Edition of camp begins May 29. The 2018 Summer Camp will have a few NEW organizational changes. One of the new and most significant change is the Maximun number of campers per session. This maximum number of campers per session will hold firm at 98 school age campers (PRE-K through 6 th grade) per session. The initial focus of registration will be for Full-time session campers. Please review the following Registration Schedule: Registration Schedule: Window ONE: December 1, 2017 May 15, 2018 (Full-time camper sessions and one full week periods) Window TWO: March 15, 2018 May 15, 2018 (Full time camper sessions, one full week period, or three s per week) upon availability MISSION To address the need for high quality child-care for school-aged children of Good Shepherd and the community during the summer months To provide to Good Shepherd and the community an opportunity to enroll their children into a summer camp program that emphasizes personal fitness, social interaction, self-esteem and good citizenship To provide an environment that is warm, caring, safe and positive for their children to experience many activities and to grow as individuals. GOOD SHEPHERD SUMMER CAMP ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED TO 98 PRE-K THROUGH 6 h GRADE CAMPERS PER SESSION. THE CAMP OFFERS FOUR TWO-WEEK SESSIONS AND IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY. THE COST IS FOR A FULL TIME TWO-WEEK SESSION. THERE WILL BE A $15.00 DISCOUNT FOR A SECOND CHILD AND A $20.00 DISCOUNT FOR A THIRD CHILD (FULL-TIME ONLY). THESE ARE THE RATES FOR SESSIONS I, II, AND III. SESSION IV IS A TWO-WEEK CAMP AND THE RATE IS PLUS optional $50.00 IF WE SCHEDULE HOLIDAY WORLD. 4 REGISTRATION POLICY (PRE-K and K-6) Applications will be processed based upon the date the registration forms are received within each Enrollment Window. A non-refundable deposit of $30.00 PER CAMPER, PER WEEK ($60.00 per session) is required. Upon attendance in camp, this deposit will be applied to the total fee for that session, example ( $ $ = ). Balances are due the first of each session in attendance. There will be a $15.00 discount for a second child (FULL TIME Session). There will be a $20.00 discount for a third child (FULL TIME Session). INFORMATION PERTAINING TO CAMP PROCEDURES (PRE-K and K-6) Bring your child(ren) in during Earlybird (7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.) and sign-in your child(ren) Send a "BROWN BAG" lunch with your child(ren). Coolers will be provided to help keep lunches cool. Send a Blanket and a Pillow for nap time PRE-K only. Have your child(ren) dressed with SOCKS ( bowling and inflatables and tennis shoes). Come in during Latebird (4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) and sign-out your child(ren). Note: A LATE FEE will be imposed on those campers picked-up after 5:30 p.m. Late Fee Rate = $1.00 per minute ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO CAMP (PRE-K) PRE-K is defined as being age four by August 1 All children must be potty-trained! This means no pull-ups! PRE-K campers WILL NOT go to Holi World PRE-K campers WILL NOT go to Rochelle Pool PRE-K campers WILL have scheduled nap time
