1 The cottage is a two storey house with a spacious kitchen, small hall, two smaller bedrooms downstairs, two smaller bedrooms upstairs as well as a large day room in the cellar. Total number of beds: 6. Rowing boat (max 3 adults in the boat) and three life jackets for transport to Torrön is included in the hire. Season: During 2018, week (14 th of May 4 th of November). Available: From Monday 14:00 to Monday 08:00. Cottage price: SEK 2 200/week. Booking and Payment: Booking and payment for the stay is done at Arrival: 14:00 Monday. Keys are in key box by Stadarna, code to the box will be sent by sms prior to arrival. Reserve keys are kept at Hovnäs ferry. Departure: 08:00 Monday. Cleaning: Tenants are to leave cottage in a well cleaned state. There are cleaning instructions and cleaning materials in the cottage. Fee for failure to clean 1000 SEK.

2 Self-catering: Utensils for self-catering are available, as are pots, frying pan and crockery for 6 persons. All consumables like kitchen and toilet paper, washing-up liquid, washing-up brush, cloths and towels need to be brought by you. Cooking: Cooking is on a wood stove. Cool cellar for storage. Drinking water: None. Bring own drinking water. Water for cleaning and washing can be taken from the river. Heating: No electricity. Wood stove and wood available. You find the key to the woodshed on a hook in the entryway. Lightning: Candlesticks in cottage. Bring own tea-lights and matches. Toilet: Outdoor toilet. Bring own toilet paper. Grill: In the outhouse. Bring own charcoal and lighter fluid Bedding: Blankets and pillows in house. Bring and use own, sheets, covers and pillow case. Sleeping bags may be used together with sheets. Parking: Parking is possible on the turning area and the end of the road, at Stadarna. Mosquitos: There can be many mosquitos in the area. Bring mosquito repellents, lotions and burners etc. Pets: Are welcome in the cottages, but not in the beds! Smoking is prohibited in the cottages. During your stay: You are in a National Park and must follow its rules. You can find these along with maps and other information in the cottages. Cows graze close to Stadarna. Do not feed them, but feel free to talk with them! Inform someone at Naturum if something breaks so that we can replace it as soon as possible. Shop/Post: There is a petrol station with foodstuff in By, 20 km from Stadarna. There are a few larger shops in

3 Horndal, 26 km from Stadarna, and in Österfärnebo, 32 km from Stadarna. All of these shops have pharmaceutical goods and provides postal services. On departure: Ensure that all fires are extinguished. Ensure that the cottage is cleaned according to instructions. Remove waste and empty bottles. On the way out you will pass a waste container for burnable materials at Balforsen, about 1 km from Stadarna. There is a recycling station in By. Thank you for thinking about the environment! Directions: Coming from the south you get to Stadarna and Torrön either via Uppsala-Gysinge or via Västerås/Enköping- Sala. From Gysinge you drive north of Färnebofjärden via Österfärnebo-Bärrek- Hovnäs. From Sala via road 70 north to Broddbo and then via Möklinta to Hovnäs ferry (1 May-30 Oct) or bridge over the river at Näs works and then take the road north of the river to Hovnäs (other times of the year). From Hovnäs you drive east parallel to the river until the road ends at the turning area. You can park here and there is a ca. 100m path east to Stadarna or a 50m path straight on to the boat to take you to Torrö cottage. For directions at search for Stadarna. Welcome! 4 Activities, boat and fishing Walking paths Tinäset Tyttbo there are no walking paths at the island, Torrön. Fishing license Tyttbo rapids fishing, Färnebofjärden fishing area (the water just outside the cabin), Fishing license can also be bought directly at Tyttbo camping. Sandön, an island with beaches in the middle of the bay, with wind shelter and fireplaces. Naturum Färnebofjärden in Gysinge, a visitor center to Färnebofjärden national park, with exhibitions and activities. Smaller bird towers are outside the national park, at Nordmyra and Östa.
