WHY STIHL CUTS IT WITH TREESCAPE Treescape has been trialing and using STIHL battery-powered machines over the past two years, we have used Cordless Chainsaws, Hedgetrimmers and Pole Pruners.

3 WHY STIHL CUTS IT WITH TREESCAPE Treescape has been trialing and using STIHL battery-powered machines over the past two years, we have used Cordless Chainsaws, Hedgetrimmers and Pole Pruners. The machine that impressed us most was the Cordless Pole Pruner this had a number of very useful design features, particularly the harness. Petrol-powered Pole Pruners can be heavy and create fumes around the worker, which is not ideal. The STIHL battery-operated version is lighter and can be held closer to the operator without causing safety problems. STIHL Cordless definitely cuts it with us! Treescape is a diamond member of the EnviroMark organisation and one of the key objectives is to reduce our carbon footprint, therefore we would encourage STIHL to continue with their Cordless developments. Understanding of the new Worksafe and the Health and Safety Employment Act is a must now more than ever with the level of liability associated with trading and ownership of a business. Many companies are now taking this challenge head on by inviting Worksafe inspectors into their workplace to help identify areas that they may be lacking in. This approach has been very successful from experience and is an important step in working together between Worksafe and industry.
