Springer Aerospace was formed from two (2) pioneer aviation companies with history that goes back to the early 1970 s. In the late 1990 s, Springer Aerospace Ltd. and Skyservices Ltd. merged under the name of Springer Aerospace. Both were located in the same area and specialized in similar work and aircraft types. This merger combined the talents of both companies and gave the operations an economy of scale. From this humble beginning grew one of the largest MRO facilities in Canada which prides itself in quality workmanship and added value to their customers as their number one priority. Springer Aerospace is just nine (9) miles east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and just across the St. Mary s river from the United States and northern Michigan. FACILITIES AND CAPABILITIES SPRINGER s aircraft maintenance, modifications and painting are carried out from their modern 22,000 square foot hangar, shop and office complex situated on their own private airport (CPF2) at Bar River, Ontario. 2 The airport has two (2) paved runways with the main runway (18/36) being 4,363 feet long and 75 feet wide. In addition this airport boasts a 2,500 foot water runway (canal) running parallel to the main runway where seaplanes can land and taxi or be towed up the ramp to the main runway. In addition there is another ramp for seaplanes that extends off the river on to the airport. This airport is home to a large number of commercial and private float planes that are stored for the winter and put back in to service by SPRINGER with a fresh annual for the summer tourist season. SPRINGER is staffed with highly-qualified and experienced technicians and support personnel specializing in regional turboprop aircraft. Our technicians have a long history of completing hundreds of heavy checks and major modifications on a whole host of commercial aircraft. Competition Sensitive Page 2 22 November 2017

SPRINGER has the engineering resources, capabilities and experience to design, install and certify aircraft modifications, upgrades and conversions. 8 AIRCRAFT PAINT SPRINGER s modern aircraft paint facility is capable of handling aircraft as large as the Canadair CL-415, ATR-72, DHC-7 and DHC-8 and has painted well over one hundred aircraft. 11 CERTIFICATIONS AND APPROVAL SPRINGER is a Transport Canada Approved Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) # All Project / Maintenance specific procedures or routines are carried out in accordance with SPRINGER s Transport Canada approved Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and Quality Assurance Procedures Manual (QAP).
