2 Page 2 Clyffe Notes Volume XX1, Issue VI June Business Meeting Minutes Inside This Issue: Letter to the Populace... 3 Officer Reports... 3 Calendar... 5 Baronial Progress... 5 Regnum... 6, 7 In Attendance: Minna, Khadir, Sam, Kiri, Phillip, David (new), Adriana, Matt, Cerdiwin, Mike, Michelle We all introduced ourselves to David whom we met at the Celtic Festival and let him know a little of what each of us do and are interested in. Welcome, David! Celtic Festival Great location, good traffic flow, excellent display. Extra thanks to George for making sure our location was fantastic this year! More folks at gate would be helpful next year to make shifts a bit shorter. Would like to develop a demo kit that is ready to go w/ critical stuff (signs, pictures, brochures, and a banner). Need to update the flyer with office s to avoid out of date info on them. Adriana transferred the publisher version of the flyer into a word doc and gave them to Elizabeth to fix. Lore will provide a copy of the SCA application to Elizabeth to put on the back of the flyer. Relay for Life (Kiri) Though we don t have a team this year, Kiri is still taking donations for Relay (on June 18 19) if you are so inclined. Every little bit helps. You can even make the donations on line at her webpage: RelayForLife/RFLFY10SA?px= &pg=personal&fr_id=24962 Wine Festival Kiri, Phillip, Rose and Adenwald will attend and determine if it would be a good demo venue for us. Way to take one for the team! Sunday Play Day We have instituted an unofficial get together every other Sunday for sewing, knitting, wood working, armor making, or any other medieval activities you can think of, or just hanging out. Mistress Mathilde has graciously offered up her home, yard and woods to host said gathering (as long as they are home!). Mistress Cerdiwin has offered to help teach Rapier skills! Reminders will be sent out on the Seadogs list prior to each Sunday we re gathering. Next one is May 30 th. and tentatively June 27 th. Mathilde will be out of town June 13 th. Pennsic Business Barony of Dun Carraig is on the drop-down menu for pre-reg; register often and early please! Need to work out camp fee and food plan (Khadir). Baron Erwin s warband has asked permission to camp with the group. Need to determine if Sir B is going to Pennsic and how to retrieve our items stored in his trailer.

The Business Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center at Airport Road, California, MD For directions go to Seneschal s Report Her report was turned in on time B&B s Report Nothing to report. Chronicler s Report I finally seem to be caught up after dealing with some technical issues! The newsletter is now in Word, not Publisher. It won t be quite as slick, but should be easier to pass from officer to officer.

Quartermaster s Report I know where it all is Minster of Arts and Sciences Report Son managed to land badly when jumping of the swingset and spent some quality time in the ER. He s ok but mom was a bit busy and didn t make it to the meeting. Singing WILL continue at practice until more chocolate is provided to the MOA&S to stop said singing. Minister of Minor s Report Donations from Kiri are gratefully accepted; requests help to run (and think of) activities for Challenge. Minister of the Lists Report Fighter card renewal can be done at practice with a head s up to Adriana. It is $5. Knight Marshal s Report Combat Archery/Thrown Weapons single main weapon must have a lanyard.

Exchequer s Report Exchequer balance is $ $ (payback from Celtic dinner we cooked last year) B&B have decided to continue the arrangement that if the balance makes it to $ they will host a (wet) party. =)
