I responded and contacted the homeowner and the door was secured by the homeowner. 3/2/2018 4:27:00 PM Caribou Drive Les Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP advised of a barking dog at the above address. I responded and sat in the area but could only hear the dog as it barked at the neighbors who were in their yard. I went to the residence, no answer at the front door. I will follow up as soon as possible. 3/2/2018 6:30:00 PM Lake Woodmoor Les Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP advised that while getting her mail a car sped by her at a high rate of speed. RP advised she was in route to work and followed the car to the Woodmoor center. RP advised when they got out of their car they yelled at her and said they were going to call police. RP ask for a drive by of her residence while she was in route to work. I drove by the address and the residence was code 4. 3/2/2018 7:46:00 PM Sherwood Glen North Justin Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP called and complained about a dog that was barking at the above address. I sat in the area for several minutes and found the barking to be coming from another area (not Woodmoor). I checked the area, but could not locate the source of the barking as it was not constant. 3/2/2018 8:35:00 PM Clearview Windows Justin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle While in the area I found a vehicle that I had not seen before. The vehicle was secure with no occupants in the area. I did a foot patrol of that business to ensure that it was secured. Contact was made and the garage door was shut by resident. 3/3/ :33:00 PM Walters Point Les Criminal Activity Trespassing RP advised of a minibike on the Walters property. I responded and the minibike was GOA. 3/3/2018 4:50:00 PM Bowstring Road Justin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP called to give WPS an "FYI" on a suspicious incident on the above street. RP reports that she was approached by a White Female Adult in a "beat up little White car" who was out looking for two children who were reportedly 3 and 5 years old. A few minutes later, the RP seen a bike near a building on Magic Lamp Way and thought that it may have belonged to one of the children. RP states that the occupants of the residence said that two children were playing inside, but that a "Man" that the children seemed to know came and picked them up. RP felt that the situation seemed off and that she needed to report it to someone. I advised RP to contact EPSO also. Myself and 5W46 responded. We could not locate any children playing in the area or the white vehicle. 3/3/2018 7:42:00 PM Augusta Drive Justin Animal Complaint Wild Animal Coyote (2) Coyotes spotted on Augusta, last seen heading North on Bent Oak. 3/4/2018 9:08:00 AM Early Star Drive Kevin Assist Citizen Assist RP states his neighbors at the above address moved out yesterday and their hot tub cover is open and the pump is running. Myself and 5W46 responded and assisted TLFD until the call was clear. Small fire inside a section between the wall and the chimney. Fire was extinguished without further incident. 3/5/2018 1:52:00 AM Church of Woodmoor Drew Open Doors Open Door/Window While checking the above location, I found the south eastern door unlocked. I cleared the building and secured the door. Code 4. 3/6/2018 5:33:00 PM Doewood Drive Art Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident TLFD paged for a one vehicle accident at the above location. Myself and 5W45 responded and provided traffic control until arrival of CSP. 3/6/2018 8:02:00 PM Highway 105 Karl Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident RP reports a single car traffic accident on Highway 105 just west of Furrow Road. Myself and 5W44 responded and provided traffic control until released by CSP. The driver struck the "Left lane must turn left" sign on the northeast corner of the intersection, knocking it over. Advised County Roads of the sign damage. 3/6/2018 9:00:00 PM Furrow Road Karl Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Hazard Appears someone ran over the speed limit sign across from Furrow Road. Notified County Roads. 3/6/2018 9:31:00 PM Winding Hills Road Karl Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle RP, PID 5593, reports a vehicle parked in front of his property and was just sitting there, driver never got out. Doesn't know if they hit anything or were having mechanical problems as the vehicle only had one headlight. I responded and the vehicle was GOA. RP called back after seeing me drive by and advised the vehicle drove into his neighbor's driveway across the street and into the garage just before I got there. 3/7/ :35:00 PM North Park common area Art Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP reported a vehicle parked in the common area at the above location and the driver was walking their dog. I responded and observed a silver SUV leaving the common area and contacted the driver. He was not a Woodmoor resident and informed them that there was no driving onto any Woodmoor common areas. 3/7/2018 4:33:00 PM Gregs Pond Art Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP, PID 5594 reported hearing someone in the common area behind her residence calling out for help. I responded and checked the pond and surrounding area and no one was seen. 3/7/2018 5:53:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Art Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident RP reported a traffic accident at the intersection of Lake Woodmoor Drive and Woodmoor Drive. I responded and found that there was no injuries and CSP had been notified. It appeared that someone had opened the door and then closed it. I notified the RP who stated that at most there was a CO2 canister in there. He stated he would come by in the morning to secure the trailer. 3/9/2018 2:57:00 AM Deer Creek Road Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window 3/9/2018 2:18:00 PM Lower Lake Road Art Criminal Activity Trespassing RP states there are five juveniles in the water near the boat ramp. I responded and contacted the juveniles who were found not to be wet and they stated they were just skipping rocks on the lake. Unfounded at this time. 3/9/2018 4:49:00 PM Misty Morning Drive Art Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP, PID 5596 reports two dogs barking in the backyard at the above address. I responded and moved it to the side of the road and called EPC roads. They said it probably won't be picked up until Monday. 3/10/ :04:00 AM Lake Woodmoor Drive Kevin Vehicle/Traffic Abandoned Vehicle While in the area I observed VID 2720 parked across from the above address. This vehicle was abandoned on Hwy 105 and green tagged by EPSO on 03/04/18. It appears the owner may have coasted the vehicle to its present location. I responded and found VID 2721 parked in front of the above address. Vehicle had damage to the steering column and the stereo missing. I called EPSO and stood by the vehicle per the dispatcher. I responded and contacted one of the solicitors who advised he was working in behalf of Representative Whitney to gather signatures to put her on the ballot. 3/11/ :05:00 PM Misty Morning Drive Drew Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Founded RP, PID 5597 states of a dog barking at the above address. I responded and parked approximately 4 lots to the south and could hear a dog barking constantly. I responded to the address and observed a large white dog in the yard. I approached to attempt to make contact with the home owners, however the dog would not allow me onto the property. I cleared the building and secured the door. I responded and parked on the corner of Top O' the Moor West and Old Antlers and could hear dogs barking constantly. I responded to the address and observed two large dogs in the yard, one white with brown face, the other brown. I approached to attempt to make contact with the home owners, however the dogs would not allow me onto the property. 4 3/14/2018 7:01:00 PM Caribou Drive West Karl Property Found Property While on patrol I was stopped by a couple residents who said they found a pink key in the intersection of Caribou Drive West and Early Star Drive. The key appears to be a house key with no identifying markings. Key brought to WPS office for safekeeping. 3/15/2018 6:36:00 AM Old Antlers Way Chad Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Founded RP stated that a dog at the above address was barking and woke her up. I responded to the area and parked on Top O the Moor West and was able to hear the dog. I then passed the property and the dogs were not barking at that time to verify the location. I parked on Lost Arrowhead so I could see the property and the dog started barking again and I was able to verify that it was the dog I heard before. Due to two dogs in the driveway I will mail the violation. 3/15/2018 4:22:00 PM Lower Lake Road Art Criminal Activity Trespassing RP reported three juveniles in a boat at the north end of the lake and were apparently getting ready to fish. I contacted the individuals who were from Denver and had seen on a web site that the lake was open for fishing. I informed them that the website was outdated and the lake is closed to fishing, boating and swimming. The boat was removed from the lake and they left without incident. 3/15/2018 5:52:00 PM Knollwood Blvd Karl Criminal Activity Trespassing RP reports a homeless person camping in the field beside his house near the above address. Upon arrival I found a moldy sleeping bag, moldy blanket and two moldy pillows. It didn't appear that the items had been used recently. I bagged them and disposed of them in our dumpster. 3/15/2018 6:21:00 PM Winding Meadow Way Karl Animal Complaint Wild Animal Complaint RP reports a deer hide in the field across from his house at the above address. Upon arrival I found a partial hide and bones. Bagged them and disposed of in our dumpster. 3/15/2018 7:12:00 PM Augusta Drive Art Alarm Alarm RP, PID 5598 reports that ADT Security alert her of an alarm activation at her residence. I responded and found all doors windows were secure. Code 4 3/15/2018 8:13:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Art Open Doors Open Door/Window RP reported the garage doors open all day at the above address. I contacted the homeowner and he secured all the doors. 3/16/2018 4:16:00 PM Deer Creek Circle Art Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle RP, PID 5599 reported that VID 2722 with a U-Haul trailer was parked near his residence. He said the driver and passenger disconnected the trailer and left the area. I responded and checked the neighboring residents and no one knew who the Trailer belonged to. At 1800hrs., the RP called and stated that the driver was visiting his neighbors and they returned and removed the U-Haul from the roadway. 3/16/ :45:00 PM Lofty Pine Lane Dennis Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Unfounded RP from above address called regarding a barking dog on his street. I staged at Lone Scout Lookout and Lofty Pine Lane and did not hear any barking. I then drove up Lofty Pine Lane and still did not hear any barking. I responded and found two people from Ridgeline Land Surveying LLC. They were in the area working for Woodmoor Water. 3/17/2018 9:10:00 AM Augusta Drive Chad Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP stated that a dog from the above address always leaves its property and will go into the common area across the street and the owners do not pick up its waste. She also stated that this morning the dog was bothering a lady walking her dog down the street. The RP asked if we could contact the home owner. I advised the RP to call WPS when these incidents happen so we can try and issue a violation. 3/17/2018 3:09:00 PM Lower Lake Road Chad Assist Citizen Assist RP states they locked their keys in their vehicle. I responded and the vehicle was unoccupied. As I was about to leave, the owner of the residence pulled up. I made contact with her and the car belonged to her daughter's friend who was staying the night. I contacted the RP and advised him what I had found. 3/18/2018 1:45:00 PM Sherwood Glen South Les Alarm Alarm Alarm company called in reference to an alarm at the above address. I responded and found the house secure, code 4. 3/19/2018 8:56:00 AM Knollwood Blvd Kevin Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Hazard RP states a truck is stuck on the hill in front of the above address. I responded and found a tractor trailer rig jackknifed and blocking both lanes of traffic. Driver had already contacted a tow truck and was waiting for their arrival. I responded and was able to hear the dog in front of 1590 Longview Circle and verified the barking was coming from the above address. The dogs had access to the front of the house so I called the resident and advised them of the complaint. She stated that she was not home. Covenant violation will be mailed. 3/22/ :47:00 AM Lazy Summer Way Chad Assist Assist Other Agency-Fire Received a page about an appliance fire at the above address. When I arrived the occupants were outside the house and the FD arrived right after me. The home owner had set the oven on a clean cycle and large flames had started inside the oven. The fire department checked the oven and surrounding walls. The fire was out and did not leave the inside of the oven. 3/22/ :33:00 PM Scrub Oak Circle Chad Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP stated that Fed Ex had just dropped two packages at her mailbox that were not hers and she was concerned due to the recent incidents in Texas. I responded and found that the packages were supposed to be delivered to her next door neighbor. She called her neighbor who came and retrieved the packages. 3/22/2018 5:16:00 PM Chipped Arrow Way Art Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical Assisted on a medical. 3/22/2018 7:50:00 PM Lone Scout Lookout Art Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident TLFD dispatched to the above address concerning a traffic accident. I responded and noticed a white Camaro off the roadway which had crashed into several trees. The homeowner's wife came to the scene with neighbors and stated that her husband had been driving and that he was intoxicated. After the accident he came into residence and they were involved in a verbal altercation at which time she left the residence and he locked all the doors. I notified EPSO and CSP concerning the situation. The subject was finally talked out of the residence and was arrested for DUI. 3/23/2018 5:58:00 PM Lakeview Lane Art Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP reported that there was a red dog running loose on Towne Court heading west. I responded and observed the dog sitting on the porch of the above location. Unfounded at this time. 3/23/2018 9:57:00 PM Knollwood Blvd Karl Open Doors Open Door/Window While conducting a vacation check at the above address, I found the front door unlocked. When the door opened, the alarm activated. I contact the resident who advised that a property manager is the only other person who has a key and they might have been in the house today and forgot to lock the door. 6 3/23/ :08:00 PM Gregs Pond Lane Dennis Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle While checking the above address, I found a pick-up truck in the driveway and lights on in the house. I contacted 5W45 and we made contact with a young lady who rents a room from the owner and the sedan was hers and the pick-up truck belonged to a friend. Code 4. 3/24/2018 5:24:00 PM Furrow Road Karl Animal Complaint Wild Animal Complaint While on patrol I found a dead deer on the east side of Furrow Road approximately 300 feet south of Lost Creek Way. Attempted contact with resident, negative contact. 3/25/2018 8:06:00 AM Woodmoor Drive Chad Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP stated that she could smell smoke on Woodmoor Drive near Doewood Drive. I responded to the area and could smell smoke but could not locate any smoke in the area. The smoke was probably from a fireplace. 3/25/2018 2:38:00 PM Knollwood Circle Art Animal Complaint Barking Dog - Founded RP, PID 5601 reports a barking dog in the front yard at the above address. While approaching the location I could hear a dog barking constantly and observed a red dog in the front yard barking non-stop. Attempted contact with homeowner and no answer to the door. Violation notice was issued and left at the front door. 3/25/ :41:00 PM Clearview Windows Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window While checking the above location, I found the South door unlocked. I responded and attempted contact, no one answered the door. The house is a rental and we have no contact information for the tenants. Appears they may have left on a trip. 3/26/ :30:00 PM Woodmoor Drive Kevin Criminal Activity Theft RP, Postal Inspector states that someone unknown pried open the community mailboxes at the Lake Woodmoor Townhomes. He said that it occurred sometime after delivery on Saturday and this morning. 3/26/2018 5:15:00 PM White Fawn Drive Les Assist Citizen Assist RP states she locked herself out of the house. WPS holds the key and was able to gain entry with the key. 3/26/ :55:00 PM Fairplay Drive Drew Assist Citizen Assist While traveling eastbound on HWY 105 at Fairplay Drive, I found VID 2723 stuck in the ditch. Driver said he hit ice and slid in the ditch. Vehicle did not appear to have any damage. The driver's mother, PID 5602 arrived on scene and we were able to pull the vehicle out without incident. Liability release completed. 3/27/2018 7:06:00 AM Fairplay Drive Drew Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical Assisted on medical call. 3/27/2018 7:47:00 AM Scrub Oak Way Kevin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP, PID 5603 states the German Shepard from the above address is in their yard again. I responded and found the owner of the dog (grandson of the owner of the above address) with the dog running loose in the RP's yard. I advised the dog owner that I would be issuing a violation notice due to the number of complaints received and verifying the complaint. 3/27/ :07:00 AM Meadowbrook Lane Kevin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP states the very large Pitbull from the above address keeps coming onto his property acting very aggressive toward him and his dogs. He is afraid that if he is not there the Pitbull will kill his dog(s). I responded and observed the dog on the deck of its property. I contacted a teenage girl and advised her if we verify the complaint, we will issue a violation notice. All Officers: This is a very large and aggressive dog. If the complaint is verified, mail a violation. Do not approach the house! 3/27/ :40:00 AM Meadows Common Area Les Suspicous Activity Suspicious Incident RP advised of juveniles walking in the above common area with guns. Upon contacting the boys they were found to have bb guns. I advised the boys to not shoot wildlife and be safe. 3/27/ :59:00 PM Winding Hills Road Justin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Person RP called and reported a suspicious person on the above street. The person is described as a Female wearing a black hoodie, with no other description given. RP states that he made contact with her and that she was "looking for her dog". I checked the above area as well as surrounding areas but was UTL. 3/28/2018 7:41:00 AM Greenwood Drive Kevin Assist Check The Welfare RP, owners sister states she has been trying to get a hold of her sister and has not been able to. 7 3/28/2018 9:40:00 AM Lazy Summer Way Kevin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint On 03/27/18 at 11:07, I was notified by the owner at the above address that their two Malamutes got out and were running around the neighborhood. We received a call from PID 5604 later in the afternoon stating the dogs were in her yard. We notified the owner of the dogs where they could be located. Today, PID 5604 reported that one of the dogs had bit her Corgi causing injury. I gave the dogs owner information to PID /28/ :05:00 PM Riverglen Lane Les Vehicle/Traffic Parking Complaint RP advised of a green Ford sedan had been parked on the roadway for two days. Upon checking the area the vehicle was gone. 3/28/2018 7:15:00 PM Lake Woodmoor Drive Justin Assist Citizen Assist RP waved me down while on patrol and asked me to help him find his dog who had just ran away after freeing himself from a leash. I checked the area and found the dog walking down the street. I was able to herd the dog back to the house where the RP secured the dog. 3/28/2018 7:56:00 PM Riverglen Lane Justin Assist Assist Other Agency-Medical 3/29/2018 7:07:00 PM Country Drive Justin Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP reports (2) dogs, a "Brown Huskie" and a "White Lab" roaming loose. I checked the area and surrounding areas but was UTL at this time. 3/29/2018 9:40:00 PM Leggins Way Justin Suspicous Activity Suspicious Vehicle RP reported VID 2724 as suspicious as it was parked on the island that separates the road. I responded and checked the vehicle and did not find any evidence that it was involved in any suspicious incident. I checked the area for any people on foot, but did not find anyone. The location where the vehicle was parked, was not a traffic hazard but made it difficult to determine which house the occupant(s) were. I followed up with the RP and shared my findings. 3/29/ :02:00 PM Cross Timbers Drew Open Doors Open Door/Window While on patrol, I found garage door open at above address. Attempted contact with resident. Negative contact. 3/30/2018 7:47:00 PM High Meadow Drive Art Animal Complaint Animal Complaint RP reported a brown dog belonging to the above address running up and down the street. I responded and checked the location and no dog was seen. 3/31/2018 4:27:00 PM Doewood Drive Art Vehicle/Traffic Traffic Accident TLFD dispatched to a traffic accident at the intersection of County Line Road Doewood Drive. I responded and provided traffic control until released by CSP. 3/31/2018 9:50:00 PM Church of Woodmoor Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window While checking the above location, I found the W. door on the garage unlocked and the N.E. door on the church not closed tightly. Doors secured by WPS. 3/31/ :14:00 PM Clearview Windows Dennis Open Doors Open Door/Window While checking the above location, I found the front doors unlocked. Door secured by WPS.
