2 TRAVEL INFO FOR CT WE ARE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU ATTEND OUR TRAINING! WHILE YOU ARE PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP, PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING THINGS IN MIND. APPROPRIATE DRESS TRAINING: The majority of the training will be spent in a classroom setting. Dress comfortably. INSTALLATION TRAINING: A portion of the training will be held in the classroom, but the majority of training will be spent performing installation training at actual job sites (if one is being installed during training period). Please wear work boots and jobsite appropriate clothing. MEALS BREAKFAST is served at your hotel; however, we will be providing continental breakfast items at our offices along with snacks during the day. LUNCH will be served each day of training. Most of your meals will be provided during the workshop (please refer to the seminar schedule for more details). TRANSPORTATION You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the airport. If you will be driving your own vehicle to and from the offices each day for training, directions to the office are enclosed in this packet. Upon request there is a shuttle from the hotels to our office. Please let them know you will be needing this service upon your check-in. TRAINING SCHEDULES Training begins promptly at 8:30am unless specified otherwise. Please be on time for training each day. Training schedules vary. Please check the training information when making your return travel plans. SOFTWARE & TRAINING: You will need to bring a laptop if software training is going to be taking place. Basement Systems and Dr. Energy Saver are tobacco free facilities. There is a designated smoking area available for your use outside the back of the main building.

That means starting on time as well as returning from breaks promptly. NAME BADGES: Please wear your name badge during the entire training so all of our staff can get to know you. INTERNET: Wireless internet is available for your use. To use the available internet connect to the Basement Systems Guest wireless internet. MOBILE PHONES: During training we ask that everyone turn off their cell phones or put them on vibrate, and please answer emergency calls in another room. LUGGAGE: If you re checking out of your hotel the last day of training please check out before leaving for our office. Feel free to bring your luggage to our office. We can store it for you by our receptionist up front until you have to leave. SMOKING AREA: Basement Systems is a tobacco free facility. If you must use tobacco there is a designated smoking area outside the back of the main building. Between the Treehouse and the Sky Café there is a staircase that leads to the back of the building. Please use the designated receptacle to deposit your butts. SALES SOFTWARE UPDATES: While you are here for training, we will be available to install the newest version of the software for you. Please bring your laptop to customer service with the power cord and password, and we will return your laptop during a break. An invoice for the software will be mailed to your office. TRANSPORTATION: If you need transportation to the airport at the end of training please notify one of our employees (preferably before the end of training) and we will be happy to arrange it for you. RECYCLING: Connecticut recycles plastic bottles, and aluminum cans. Please be considerate and deposit the cans in the proper receptacle, and not in the garbage.
