It contains the basic information about Prague public transport, how to navigate through conference venues or who to call when you re in trouble. PRAMUN X Itinerary You can find the detailed itinerary at the Firebird Tours website ( However, to give you an idea of how the schedule will look like and to point out some of the most important events, we re enclosing a shortened version below. Wednesday, Jan Dinner in the hotel Travel to Gymnázium Jana Nerudy for registration and orientation Youth Forum in the committees Dress code: informal / smart casual Delegate s job: participating in the informal debate, getting to know your fellow delegates find the YF details at pramun.com Thursday, Jan Guided tour (the exact time may be prone to changing, gather in the hotel lobby) Lunch in Obecní dům followed by free time for exploring and shopping Dinner in the hotel Opening Ceremony in the hotel Delegate s job: paying attention and absorbing the wisdom of older PRAMUN generations Friday, Jan Lobbying in the committees (the whole day at Gymnázium Jana Nerudy) Delegate s job: drafting a resolution with fellow delegates that represent countries with similar opinions, getting engaged in caucusing Lunch Committees in session Delegate s job: formal debate over submitted resolutions Dinner in Strahovský klášter A film evening of Czech/European history in the hotel Saturday, Jan 13 2 PRAMUN X Delegate s Essentials

3 09 00 Committees in session (Gymnázium Jana Nerudy) Delegate s job: finish what the committee started on Friday Lunch General Assembly & Closing Ceremony in the hotel cinema hall (please mention this to your delegates as well) Delegate s job: possibly presenting a resolution or speaking against it (if chosen in your committee prior to that), voting Free time Interactive folklore performance followed by farewell disco in the hotel Sunday, Jan Visit to a memorial museum in the Church of St. Cyril and Methodius, and depart home 2. Finding your way 2.1. Between the hotel and the school Prague boasts one of the best public transport network in the world and we will be using the iconic Prague trams throughout the whole conference. It takes about 15 minutes from the hotel to Jan Neruda High School, using tram no. 22. Don t forget to validate your CZK 24 ticket after getting on a tram if you forget, you may be fined around 30 Euro. direction tram where to find the stop number of stops To the school 22 from Malovanka to Hellichova (direction of Nádraží Strašnice) Malovanka: right in front of the hotel. Hellichova: follow the tram rails and take the 7 stops (13 mins) To the hotel 22 from Hellichova to Malovanka (direction of Vypich or Bílá hora) second left. Jan Neruda High School (or Gymnázium Jana Nerudy) The hosting school, Gymnázium Jana Nerudy, feels like a maze at first. Following map and rooms list should help you navigate through it. Committee rooms are usually decided few days before the conference feel free to mark them on spot in your printed version of chair s handbook.
