30 CIRCLE INTERCHANGE EARLY VERSIONS ENCIRCLED DOWNTOWN 1934 version had a Loop quadrangle with 24 parking towers that would hold 60,000 cars. It would be paid for with fed dollars and repaid with10 cent tolls and 25 parking fees The Chicago Automobile Club endorsed this plan in 1939 of high speed roads around the loop. Both plans assume a direct connection between superhighways and LSD.
