Sitting along the banks of the Maribyrnong River, a little oasis of gum trees, sloping grass banks, old river terraces, today it belies its industrial past. Its charming Australian décor features natural radial cut weather boards, a stone fire place, tin sidings, a polished concrete floor and a ceiling of exposed straw. It seems to fit right in so well in fact it could have been here for years. Alternate selection also applies for Sunday lunch parties over 20 guests. 5 Beverage Options Beverages at the Boathouse are charges upon consumption. A pre-selected or limited beverage list can be arranged for your function. Bar tabs can also be arranged for your function and may be followed by a full cash bar. For exclusive functions, beverage packages are available from $45 per person (3 hour duration) and may be arranged upon request. 7 Terms & conditions Confirmation An event booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the booking confirmation form, signed by an authorised person and payment of the required deposit. The required non-refundable deposit is as stipulated as per the booking confirmation form (based on your estimated number of guests) unless otherwise stipulated. Your deposit will be deducted from your final account on the day of your event. These must be received within fourteen (14) days of the tentative booking being made. The Boathouse reserves the right to cancel the tentative booking should the required deposit and form not be received within the required period. Payment Security A current credit card is required to secure any booking; the booking is not confirmed until the requirements above are met. Final Payment Full payment of the outstanding bill (less deposit taken) must be received at the conclusion of your event. Guarantee of Payment The contact person for the event is personally liable to pay all monies in full to the Boathouse. Where there have been tabs opened by another person, company or entity, personal liability remains the responsibility of the contact person. Credit card Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Credit card fees apply to all credit card charges. Notice of cancellation In the event of a cancellation, the following terms will apply: The Boathouse requires notice of any cancellation or postponement. Seven (7) days prior to the function, a cancellation fee of $10 per person will be charged to the client, based on guest numbers in the final event details. Two (2) days or less prior to the function, a fee of $25 per person will be charged to the client, based on guest number in the final event details. Postponement Unless prior arrangement is made with The Boathouse, the cancellation terms as noted above will be applicable in the event of your function being postponed.

8 Final attendance Final guest numbers are required seven (7) days prior to your function. This will be the minimum number of guests you will be charged for. Any further increases will be welcomed subject to availability. All billing will be based on this figure whether or not full attendance is received. Venue Bookings The Boathouse reserves the right to book other functions and events within The Boathouse, which may coincide with you function booking, unless exclusive hire has been arranged. Menus & Beverages Menu and beverages are subject to change. Finalisation of the menu must be received seven (7) days prior to your event, along with any dietary requirements. Entertainment/Special Effects (For exclusive hire arrangements only) The client must inform The Boathouse of any planned entertainment or performances at the event at least 5 business days prior to event commencement. All requests must be put in writing to The Boathouse for approval. The Boathouse reserves the right to reduce the volume of entertainer/performance in keeping in line with venue s sound requirements. The Boathouse must be notified in writing of any smoke, pyrotechnic or special effect equipment to be used during the event. Should the fire brigade be called in response to an alarm set off by unauthorised equipment, the Client will be liable for all relevant charges incurred by the operation. Alcohol Provision, consumption & Behaviour The Boathouse supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Clients will be held responsible for ensuring that their guests behave in a responsible manner and that guests under the age of 18 years old do not consume alcohol. The Boathouse reserves the right to refuse the supply of alcohol to patrons who appear to be intoxicated. The Boathouse reserves the right to ask intoxication and/or disorderly patrons to vacate the premises at any time. The Boathouse reserves the right to request proof of identity before serving alcoholic beverages to guests. All alcohol service ceases at 11:00pm

9 Responsibility The Maribyrnong Boathouse Pty Ltd does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to client s property, including hired equipment left prior, during or after a function. The signatory/signatories is/are financially responsible for any damages to The Boathouse property and hire equipment brought in by clients, guests or outside contractors prior to, during or after a function. The Maribyrnong Boathouse Pty Ltd has the right to request a refundable security deposit from the client. The Maribyrnong Boathouse Pty Ltd has the further right to refuse the full refund of the security deposit if repairs are required to The Boathouse property damaged prior to, during or after the function. Unforeseen Circumstances In the event of inability to comply with any of the provisions of this agreement by virtue or any cessation or interruption of electricity, gas or water supplies, industrial disputes, equipment failure, unavailability of food stuff, acts of God or other unforeseen contingency or accident, The Boathouse reserves the right to cancel any booking and refund any deposit without notice at any time.
