3 Getting around the city Basel has several accessible transport hubs, including an international airport and train station with public transport in Basel mostly accessible. The website Basel on the Move has helpful information in both German and English for disabled passengers. To contact the public transport services, please contact the BVB Customer Centre by telephone on +41 (0) or by on For further information on accessible public transport around Basel, please see: For specific information (in German) on public transport for the UEFA Europa League Final, please see: For a map of public transport routes in Basel, please see: The airport: EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is located approximately 10 kilometres from St. Jakob- Park stadium. The airport website has helpful information for disabled passengers: The airport has several accessible drop-off points for disabled passengers located along the access roads to the terminal building in the French and Swiss sectors. To get to Basel Bahnhof SSB train station, located in the centre of the city, disabled passengers should take bus 50 from the departure building. The bus is accessible (disabledfriendly) with drop-level access and a ramp and there is a calling device at the bus stop for disabled passengers who require assistance. The main train station: Bahnhof Basel SBB Bahnhof Basel SBB train station is located approximately 3 kilometres from St. Jakob-Park stadium. Helpful information for disabled passengers can be found in German and English on: 2
4 Disabled passengers who require assistance with boarding and alighting trains should book in advance by calling the SBB Help Centre from Europe or from the UK. Assistance can be booked no later than 60 minutes before departure/arrival. Wayfinding signage is in place to assist blind and partially sighted passengers in finding their way to platforms and around the station independently. Assistance for blind and partially sighted passengers can also be booked via the SBB Help Centre. Induction (hearing) loops for hard of hearing passengers are available at some ticket counters at the station. Getting around by tram Please note that the tramline 14 will be redirected to M-Park station, and will not be stopping at St. Jakob-Park stadium. From M-Park station, the stadium is located approximately 1.2 kilometres away. Tramlines 6 and 8 have drop-level access and are accessible both for manual and electric wheelchair users. Wheelchair users can access the tram via the second door from the front, where a ramp is available. Other tramlines are serviced by older vehicles. These have step-free access, but no ramp. As such, the older lines are accessible for manual wheelchair users, but not for electric wheelchair users. In three-coach trams, the step-free access is located in the middle carriage. In two-coach vehicles (lines 15 and 16), step-free access is located in the second carriage. In Be4/6Solo low-floor vehicles, step-free access is located in the middle section. Wheelchair user access to tram Getting around by bus All buses have drop-level access and are equipped with a ramp. 3
5 Getting around by Taxi Accessible taxis are available in Basel. Please note that taxis only seem to accept wheelchair users with foldable wheelchairs and must be booked in advance of travel. Taxi Zentrale AG Basel: +41 (0) er Taxi AG: +41 (0) Mini-cab AG: +41 (0) Fan Meeting Points and Fan Zone There are two Fan Meeting Points for the Final: Claraplatz and Barfüsserplatz and one neutral Fan Zone: Münsterplatz. Barfüsserplatz will be the designated meeting point for Liverpool FC supporters. Claraplatz will be the designated meeting point for Sevilla FC supporters. The Canton of Basel city website has helpful information on each Fan Meeting Point and on the Fan Zone. Please note, there is no specific information on disabled fans access: Getting to Claraplatz (Sevilla FC) Claraplatz is served by tramlines 6, 8 and 14, as well as buses 34 and 38. Getting to Barfüsserplatz (Liverpool FC) Barfüsserplatz is served by tramlines 3, 6, 8, 11, 14 and 15. Please find the following maps with the fan meeting points and routes to the stadium: 4

From the airport: Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg To get to the stadium from the airport, you should take bus 50 to the main train station, Bahnhof Basel SBB. Then take tramline 10 or 11 to Dreispitz. From here, the stadium is located at approximately 850 metres. 7

Accessible (disabled-friendly) services Stadium Volunteers Stadium stewards and dedicated matchday volunteers will be available to provide assistance to disabled fans at the stadium. Audio-descriptive commentary An audio descriptive commentary service will be provided in German (as the local language). Partially sighted and blind spectators wishing to receive this service will be able to tune in using their own personal FM radios. ** To receive this audio descriptive commentary in German (local language), please tune into broadcasting frequency 91.0 Mhz. ** A small number of additional headsets will be available at the Final for fans who have forgotten to bring their personal FM radios. 12
14 It should also be possible to listen to live radio commentary within the stadium using 3G/4G mobile phones via the official radio broadcasters websites or the phone apps - Talksport (for English) and Cadena Ser (for Spanish). Please note that this will depend on the quality of your mobile phone reception. For further information, please visit the broadcasters websites: Talksport Radio at Cadena Ser Radio at Many disabled and non-disabled spectators are discovering and enjoying audio descriptive commentary on matchdays. This inclusive service may provide a more complete understanding of the match and the surrounding ambience. For further information about audio descriptive commentary and how CAFE could help your club to adopt a similar service for your partially sighted and blind fans, please visit the CAFE website at or contact michael@cafefootball.eu 13
