3 ABOUT GUBI GUBI IS AN INNOVATIVE DESIGN COMPANY MANU- FACTURING HIGH-END FURNITURE AND LIGHTING. Founded in 1967, GUBI is one of the leading design manufacturers in Denmark. It produces innovative, functional design with an emotional touch and has had great success both nationally and internationally. Its head office is situated in the Freeport of Copenhagen. GUBI constantly seeks out new, contemporary and inventive design, which means that both classic design icons and exciting new innovations can be found in its characteristic product range. Product development is undertaken in close collaboration with well-known Danish and international architects and designers. It is crucial for GUBI not just to produce furniture, but to develop unique furniture design, lighting and accessories that can also match its surroundings. GUBIs key products are the GUBI Chair Collection, designed by Komplot Design in 2003 and the GUBI 2 Chair collection. Alongside these is the world-famous BestLite lighting collection designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930 a collection that has been in continuous production for more than 80 years. In recent years, the portfolio has been expanded with new and classic icons such as the Pedrera furniture and lighting collection by Barba Corsini designed for Gaudi s La Pedrera building in Barcelona. Others include the Masculo lounge chair already highly acclaimed around the world for its exciting design combining classical form with the lines of the future. GUBI products are designed for homes as well as for offices. With their iconic yet understated design, they fit easily into any interior, highlighting both classical and modern lines. GUBI s list of references is long and impressive and includes numerous major financial companies in Europe as well as the hotel and restaurant industry. In 2004, the GUBI chair was added to the permanent collection at MoMA in New York and in 2005, GUBI furnished the 25th floor of the new 7 World Trade Center as an example of the office of the future. 02 // About GUBI About GUBI // 03

4 GOS 3 The idea behind the design of GOS 3 was to create a simple, minimalistic, height adjustable table without the look of a height adjustable desk. The table reflects contemporary architecture and design and is equally suitable for domestic and office use - as a dining or conference table or as a work desk. The side panels conceal the cable management and the height adjustment mechanism. The GOS 3 series is offered in a wide variety of finishes and sizes, and is also available in fixed heights. 7 GOS 4 The GOS4 is a series of meeting and work tables. The height adjustable table is highly functional and designed to be as minimalistic as possible - form follows function. The table is designed without any hampering cross beam. The GOS 4 series is equally perfect for meetings and for deskwork since the construction without a cross beam allows for comfortable sitting at either side of the table. 9 GO-DESK Mono & GO-DESK Master The GO-DESK series comprises two table designs - GO-DESK Mono and GO-DESK Master. The Master table is intended for the executive office and the smaller Mono table is often used in the front office or in open space offices. 12 GUBI Storage 2 GUBI Storage 2 is a unique concept comprising open units and cabinets in various finishes and sizes. The versatility of the series creates a storage system with numerous possibilities. Some of the cabinets offer access from both sides and this makes the system highly suitable as room dividers in open space offices. 15 GUBI Chair The GUBI Chair was the first industrial product series based upon an innovative moulding technique using 3D veneer. Since its introduction, the chair has developed into a complete collection of chairs and tables offered in a wide variety of finishes. Unupholstered, front or fully upholstered, with a sledge, swivel or wooden base or four-legged - the GUBI Chair collection offers seating and tables suitable for use in restaurants, meeting rooms, lounges, domestic use and office areas. 19 Y! Table The Y! Table was designed with the purpose of creating a series of tables with focus on visual simplicity and physical lightness. The challenge was to design a table with a minimal and utilitarian base construction combined with a broad variety and finishes of tabletops and the bases. Y! Table is offered in two standard heights - a normal dining version, and an attractive and light bar version. The Y! 20 Aoyama Aoyama is a district in Tokyo famous for its fashion houses, restaurants and interesting shops. It was these surroundings that was the inspiration for GUBI s new table. Aoyama consists of a perforated pillar in lasercut steel, giving the table a sense of visual lightness. A single pillar is available with an round tabletop, while two pillars support a rectangular tabletop. The pillars and the tabletops are available in various finishes and sizes. 22 GUBI Table Series To accompany the GUBI Chair the Gubi Table has been developed. The table is available in a variety of shapes, finishes and sizes and with one or two columns. 24 A3 Stool The design of the stool is inspired by the letter A. The seat has the same dimensions as a sheet of A3 paper. 26 GUBI Chair 2 GUBI Chair 2 is the result of an ongoing search for new materials combined with innovative technology. GUBI Chair 2 is a series of tables, chairs and room dividers in felt, based on the use of PET fiber technology. The chair is available in a two-coloured combination, with or without arms and a lounge chair. The room divider is available in two colours, light and dark grey. The pure straightforward look makes the GUBI Chair 2 series suitable for domestic use, offices and public areas like restaurants, meeting and conference rooms. 30 Masculo Masculo lounge chair is the perfect mix between Italian design lines and Nordic design traditions. The Masculo lounge chair combines quality, aesthetics and seating comfort. The Masculo lounge chair is based on a strong contrast, as manifested in the opposition between the expressive and characteristic backrest supported by a light metal structure.
