An unexpected call It was a day Anna would never forget.late last Saturday night my mother and I were watching a DVD when the phone rang. It was my friend Anna. She was home alone when suddenly she felt ill.we were worried,so we went to her house and immediately called an ambulance to come.she was in a bad condition and we took her to hospital. The young doctor who examined her told me that an operation had to be performed at once.anna was taken to the surgery and the operation took place at midnight.after the operation the nurses looked after her very carefully. Anna was quiet and she hadn t woken up.the doctor told my friend to stay in bed for a while. Some days later,my friend felt better, she got out from hospital and we visited her at home. Lots of her friends came to see her and brought her sweets and presents. It was a wonderful experience for Anna and I was very happy. Anastasia Georgiadou D3
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER It was a day Anna would never forget. She was at home.it was midnight of Friday and it was raining cats and dogs. The weather was awful with thunders and lightings. She was alone with her best friend and they decided to watch T.V. until late. She was sleeping in the living room when suddenly she heard a strange noise. She woke up and turned on the lights. After that she couldn t sleep. She was trying to understand what had happened. After a while she heard it again and her friend heard it, too. They both fell scared. The noise was coming from the bedroom and they didn t know what to do. They decided to go to the bedroom to find what was making the noise and to their surprise, they found a little puppy. They couldn t stop laughing. It was definitely a night to remember. Elisabeth Vathioti D3
A DAY BY THE LAKE It was a day Anna would never forget.it was a wonderful summer day.our families decided to have a pic-nic next to a very nice big lake. Anna and I were swimming and chatting in the lake.we didn t understand what happened, but after a while we arrived at the deepest spot of the lake, where we couldn t reach the bottom.we were scared.suddenly,we started swallowing some water and we couldn t breathe.we shouted loudly Help and we hoped to be heard. Fortunately,in the end,our families heard us,came and save us.after that incident, anna and I decided to be more careful. Lyberis Androutsopoulos D3
JUST IN TIME It was a day Anna would never forget. She had not slept very well the night before. She was too excited to be tired. First, she put on her new uniform and brushed her hair. Her mother said that if she didn t hurry, she would miss the bus. She kissed her and wished her luck for the first day at the new school. She was on the bus for about 10 minutes when she noticed something strange. None of the other boys and girls were wearing the same school uniform. It was at that point that she realised that she had got on the wrong bus!!! She jumped off at the next stop and thought that she mustn t be late on her first day! The problem was that she didn t know where she was. She started to panic when she saw her dad s car. Luckily,he saw her too and drove her to school. In the end they got there just on time! She left so relieved!!! She gave her dad a big huge and a kiss. Then she ran inside and began the first of many happy days at secondary school!!!!!!!! BY MARIA RUMELIOTI D3

Everything was under control finally!!! It was a day Anna would never forget.anna was at her sister s and she was babysitting her little niece.it was half past eleven at night and it was raining and there were thunder shots. The baby was sleeping and Anna had for company a friend of hers. He was Anna s boyfriend.while Anna and her boyfriend were watching a film on TV, at about twelve o clock, they heard a noise coming from the baby s room on the first floor. Anna and her boyfriend were scared and very anxious. They thought that something had happened to the baby. They immediately ran to the first floor to check what happened to the baby. The baby was crying and it woke because of the noise. The noise was coming from a window that Anna had forgotten open. Anna was relieved when she saw that the baby was safe and nothing had happened to it. Fortunately, everything was under control, but after that Anna decided to be more careful and responsible. 10 Just a mystery It was a day Anna would never forget. Last Saturday, Anna went to her grandparents house for a visit. They were watching TV in the living room. Suddenly, Anna heard some footsteps coming from upstairs.it was very weird because nobody was upstairs, so she went up to check it out. When she opened the door of her grandfather s room, she saw a lady dressed in white with long black hair. She ran downstairs scared. While she was running, she fell of the stairs and she was unconscious. When she woke up, she said what she saw but nobody believed her, so they went upstairs to see what was going on. When her grandfather tried to open the door, he realised that it was locked and asked Anna if she had locked it before. She answered negatively. After a while they opened the door but nobody was inside. Her grandparents went down to watch TV. Anna still believes that the house is haunted. But noone knows who this woman was and where she came from It remains a mystery!!! PENTIKIS JIM D3

A strange story It was a day Anna would never forget. Last summer, Anna was playing the guitar when the phone rang. It was her mother Sofi and she asked Anna to meet her at the cinema. Before Anna had time to say anything, Sofi said, Don t ask me why, just get here quickly. It s urgent! Anna grabbed her bag and ran to the old cinema. Someone was there. Anna opened the door and she walked in. It was dark and Anna didn t see anything. Suddenly, a bright light appeared on the stage. There were some other people there. But she couldn t make out who they were. The next thing she knew, she was back home next to her guitar again. Anna thought she had been dreaming but, she wasn t sure what had really happened. RODOPOULOU ROULA D 3
A strange photo It was a day Anna would never forget. It was a cold night. The wind was blowing hard and Anna had just left the café where her friends were. Suddenly, the wind stopped blowing, and fog covered the square that Anna was at that moment. She looked around her but no one was there. The water fountain stopped spilling water. She was shocked. She heard also fading voices like: Get out of there!, You re in trouble! etc. In addition she saw a written sign on a door Exit, so she opened and entered it. When she entered she was at a black place where there was no, she saw a little lamp and under it a photo with her husband and her daughter. After she noticed that she wasn t in the photo, she started crying, so she sat down and shouted as loud as she could for help. Then a dazzling light lit up and a voice heard Come, Anna, come. I ll get you home. Anna got into the light. She couldn t see anything. She felt like she was hypnotized. When the dazzling light was lost she was in her bed next to her husband. She wasn t sure what happened but she will remember that for her whole life. MINARETZOGLOY KOSTAS D 3
