Please note that we have a portable card machine so all payments at the venue can be paid by card. Arriving by plane: You will be met at the arrivals by members of the Norwegian Taoist Tai Chi Association, who can offer further assistance. The main meeting point will be at Oslo Central Train Station where we will help you with directions for getting to your accommodation. Oslo airport Gardermoen is the only viable airport for Oslo. The cheapest option for travel to Oslo Central Station is by NSB train (Not the Airport Express train). The train station is inside the airport terminal building. The NSB trains for Oslo Central Station, train numbers R11/R10 and L12 leave from platform 4. The trip takes 23 minutes with departures roughly every 30 minutes. The ticket you need is a Ruter single ticket for 4 zones which is valid for 2 hours after validation (swiping the ticket over a ticket controller). The ticket covers the journey into Oslo by NSB train and further travel on public service for sightseeing or travel to your accommodation up to the time limit of 2 hours. The Ruter ticket can be bought at Ruter (only) ticket vending machines or at most kiosks and costs 93 kr. There are discounts available for pensioners. If you know you are returning home by the same route it is advisable that you buy two tickets, one for the return journey. Arriving by international train: You will arrive at Oslo Central Train Station. See further travel details under accommodation below. Arriving by international bus: You will arrive at Oslo Central Bus Station. It is a few minutes walk to Oslo Central Train Station over the interconnecting bridge. See further travel details under accommodation below. Travelling by car: We assume that you will find your own way to your accommodation. Otherwise contact us for help. Accommodation: The following alternatives are available: 1. Bygdøy Bed & Breakfast 3 apartments with capacity 4-5 persons, within walking distance of main event. Each apartment will be supplied with food and drink covering breakfasts and an evening snack. Price for two nights per person, NOK Bogstad Camping Cabins capacity 4-5 persons per cabin. Bunk beds and single beds, full amenities. Each cabin will be supplied with food and drink covering breakfasts and an evening snack. Transport to and from Bogstad will be arranged for the main venue. Price for two nights per person, NOK Staying with local Taoist Tai Chi members 4. Own private arrangements How to get there from Central Train Station: 1. Bygdøy B&B, Mellbyedalen 3 (tel: ) Exit the train station by the front entrance and walk 100 metres to the bus stops. Bus 30 to Bygdøy departs from platform A with departure every 10 min on weekdays. Take the bus to Folkemuseet (the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History), total journey of ca. 18 minutes and 6 stops. From there, it is ca. 3 minutes walk to the Bygdøy Bed and Breakfast at Mellbyedalen 3. Refer to the map in page 3-5.

2 2. Bogstad Camping Cabins Exit the train station by the front entrance and walk 3 minutes to the 32 bus stop. Take the bus to Bogstad Camping. Total journey time is 31 minutes. Refer to maps below. 3. Guests of members Please coordinate with your hosts. 4. Private arrangements We assume that you will find your own way to your destination. Otherwise contact us for help. Please note that public transport to the main venue at Bygdøy Idrettshus, Huk Aveny 45 is by bus 30 to Bygdøy which has stops at the Central Train Station and the National Theatre Metro station (Nationalteateret). Get off at Bygdøhus. Meals: There will be lunch on Saturday provided by caterers and a banquet at 1900 hrs. Snacks and drinks/tea provided throughout the intensive. We will do our utmost to respect the specific dietary needs and wishes listed by participants. Social arrangement Sunday 28 th May On Sunday between 1100 and 1500 hrs we would like to invite you to a guided tour including some of Oslo's main sights. There will probably be two or three options to allow for enough time for each group. It will be informal, guiding by members, and with time for a meal/snack before departure. The program will be presented on Saturday provided there is enough interest.

4 From Jernbanetorget, it takes ca. 18 minutes by bus (6 stops to Folkemuseet bus stop)

5 From the Folkemuseet bus stop to the Bygdøy Bed and Breakfast at Mellbyedalen 3, it takes only 3 minutes walk.
