The holidays present the perfect time to gather genealogical information and family stories from relatives as they reminisce about times past. With a small amount of preparation and some helpful tools, you can capture the essence of your family s history and stories and preserve them for generations to come. The CRCGS team will describe the best way to get started gathering family information and where to look for clues. Take some time to remember those peaceful summer days and then think about all you have to get done before 2014 arrives. We have had a Wonderful Potluck Auction and thank you all for participating. I hope you had as much fun as I did. This time of the year, I am looking ahead to our activities for the November and December months. When you get your Newsletter, you will notice there will be no Out and About s scheduled for the coming two months. This is due to our tight schedule of Luncheons and coffees. Friends, please note that the luncheons are only 2 weeks apart. If you would like to pay for both, you must submit 2 separate checks. One for the November and one for December. The cut off to pay for the December luncheon is November 27 th. From all your board members we wish you a Healthy and Happy Thanksgiving. They perched themselves in a nest and commenced to rehearse their feathers off, only pausing occasionally for water and birdseed (ok wine and chocolate). These birdies became a flock and blend their voices in Barbershop Harmony and always find a way to Cuckoo-ize all their songs. Come watch Kay, Jacque, Christina and Carolyn entertain us in harmony and fun.
