The Hoosier Region, Southern Ohio Region, and the Indiana Region of the Cadillac and LaSalle Club will meet and tour the MK Coach Company / Ameila Auto Depot, (A Kellerman Family Company), 2028

This company produces vehicles for the Funeral Trade. They transform Lincolns, Cadillacs, and Pacificas. We will be given a tour by Mr. James Slim Richardson.

Since this past fall, MK refurbished a hearse owned by three of our members.

1 Ohio Southern Region LCOC March/April, 2018 Communiqué MK Coaches Tour Saturday, April 14, :00 a.m. The Hoosier Region, Southern Ohio Region, and the Indiana Region of the Cadillac and LaSalle Club will meet and tour the MK Coach Company / Ameila Auto Depot, (A Kellerman Family Company), 2028 State Route 125, Amelia, Ohio on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. MK Coach is located southeast of Cincinnati about 10 miles southeast of I275 on State Route 125. This company produces vehicles for the Funeral Trade. They transform Lincolns, Cadillacs, and Pacificas. We will be given a tour by Mr. James Slim Richardson. He is very enthusiastic about their business and the resulting quality of their products. MK Coach Company also will do body and paint work for individuals. Since this past fall, MK refurbished a hearse owned by three of our members. They are in the finishing process of major body work and complete repaint of a 69 Lincoln Sedan, and have a 76 Fleetwood owned by an Indiana CLC member waiting for a compete repaint. You will find this tour very educational and enjoyable. We will eat together after the tour at Freddy s Hamburgers. More information about our future events will be sent to you as the plans are finalized. Keep an eye on your . MK just refinished the 1999 Lincoln Hearse that Ryan Beatrice, Joe Columbe and Ted Hilton purchased. They are currently in process of working on Joe s 1969 Lincoln Continental Town car. The Hearse will be going to Minneapolis this year and it has been designatred a Certified Custom by LCOC.

We had raffle prizes with store gift cards and table center pieces.

2 Congratulations to Southern & Hoosier Region Members Congratulations to Joe Columbe, Ryan Beatrice and Ted & Kim Hilton (Kim is taking the picture) on purchasing a 1999 Lincoln Hearse MK Coaches refreshed the coach and it looks like it is brand new! Southern Region LCOC and AACA Christmas Party The AACA and Southern Ohio LCOC had their annual Christmas Party at Sycamore Creek Country Club on Sunday December 3. We had 40 people attend our event. We had 22 from our region and 18 from the local AACA chapter. We had raffle prizes with store gift cards and table center pieces. Our 2018 event will be on Saturday December 1, 2018 at Sycamore Creek Country club. Please note that the party is on a SATURDAY this year. Update on Al Audette s 1940 Continental The Southern Ohio Region had a tour of D & D Classic Restoration Shop in Covington, Ohio, April The manager showed us the process of how they restore a classic car and demonstrated the sheet metal fabrication process. He also showed us the process a car goes thru for final assembly and the paint and metal prep. We also were able to view several completed cars waiting for their owner to pick up, Our Treasurer and Membership director, Al Audette, has his 1940 Lincoln Continental in the process of restoration at the shop. It is a long and costly process.. Following the tour we had Lunch at the Lincoln Square Restaurant Troy Ohio.

The Hosts will provide Meat, Drinks, & Tableware. All members are asked to bring a dish (or 2 or 3) to share. All Members and their families, guests of members and their families are invited and encouraged to attend. (Please keep in mind, the dish or dishes that you bring need to be enough to feed the number of people that you will be bringing). The Indiana Region of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club have been invited to attend this year as they have for the last 3 years. They heard about all the FUN and asked to be invited which is a TRUE FACT! We are sending an invitation to ALL LINCOLN & CONTINENTAL OWNERS CLUB - HOOSIER REGION MEMBERS, LCOC SOUTHERN OHIO REGION MEMBERS. Please RSVP to the Columbe s by June 13, 2018, so that the Hosts will be able to plan accordingly. Activities to do at Lime Rock Farm Talking about Lincoln s, looking at Lincoln s, nature walks, visit the longest covered bridge still in use in Indiana that is within a big walking distance, fishing (bring your own gear), row boats (bring your own life jackets and row power), swimming in the pool that features a slide, 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards (no Lifeguards), golf cart rides, and the most important thing, EATING AND VISITING WITH LINCOLN & CONTINENTAL PEOPLE! The last 7 picnics have been great. Let s make this years picnic the best one yet!!! EVERYONE BRING YOUR LINCOLN & CONTINENTAL FOR DISPLAY. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE, BRING THEM ALL!!!!!
