1 JUNE 10, :00 PM The 18 th General Council meeting of the 56th Elected Council of the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory was held on the above noted date held in the Council Chambers of the Administration Building, Ohsweken, Ontario, with Councillor Mark Hill presiding. (1) CHANGES/ADDITIONS/DELETIONS AND ADOPTION OF AGENDA GC#394/06/10/2014 Moved by Wray Maracle and seconded by Melba Thomas to adopt the General Council Agenda of June 10, 2014 with noted changes/additions. 1. Gaming MOU

Brian explains the glottal stop and its importance in pronouncing the Mohawk language (3) ADOPTION OF THE OF GC#395/06/10/2014 Moved by Dave Hill and seconded by Lewis Staats to adopt the May 27, 2014 General Council meeting minutes as presented. (4) JUNE 2, 2014 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE RECOMMENDATIONS GC#396/06/10/2014 Moved by David Hill and seconded by Lewis Staats that the Six Nations Elected Council supports the programs being offered by the YMCA to Six Nations for the year of , and offer the space at the schools in kind and that SECOND READING be WAIVED. GC#397/06/10/2014 Moved by Robert Johnson and seconded by Melba Thomas that the Six Nations Elected Council provide a letter of support for the Mohawk Village Park Project stating that the land is insured, including third party liability, give approval to use the community owned land and provide proof that the land is community owned and that SECOND READING be WAIVED. GC#398/06/10/2014 Moved by Carl Hill and seconded by Melba Thomas that the Six Nations Elected Council will allow Grand Tour Desjardin Cycling Tour to travel through Six Nations of the Grand River. GC#399/06/10/2014 Moved by Robert Johnson and seconded by Carl Hill that the Six Nations Elected Council approves undertaking the Youth and Elders Centre Project and request $500, through the Aboriginal Community Capital Grants Program This grant has always been a possibility and it was just decided recently to proceed with the application. The project will proceed without the grant. Dave is requesting that Six Nations Council sign a MOU with Kahnawake for information sharing regarding Gaming operations. Council requests that this time be deferred until a draft MOU is presented.
